He is really good, I don't know about top 5 tho. Federer put away doubts about his fitness and health winning today 60 63 60 against Diego Hartfield. Nalbandian also didn't look "sick" at all (he has had back problems last week) against Smeets.
Next round there is Baghdatis vs Safin :D |

Nadal seems to be in shape as well, winning very easy in today's 2nd round.
My bet for this tournament is of course Federer, with the main threats being Djockovic and Nalbandian. I also see Nadal and Davydenko as outsiders.

The sickness / body condition thing is not an excuse. I mean endurance is something that comes genetically + carefulness + training.
Coria was on the top for a while but he got injured pretty often. People who don't get injured don't use magic, they train or rest off some tourneys in order not to get injured |

Wow I just realised how hard the second quarter of the draw is...
I mean look at the players left right now (in the middle of the 2nd round):
for third round:
djockovic vs Querrey (don't know anything about querrey but novak is really good of course)
Hewitt vs Safin/Baghdatis (Wow now that's a lot of good player to be so early in the tournament!)
Nalbandian vs JC Ferraro (Nalbandian one of the hottest players right now vs a former world #1!)
Greaymayr/Spadea vs Ferrer (ok first two are no big cannons but Ferrer played masters finals last year and lost to Federer in the final... !)
Ridicoulous amount of good players to be 3rd round only.
Federer crushed another opponent today.. only losing 3 games.. (he has lost a whopping 6 games on his first two matches.. ) |

Haha...how many other people use to/still do fill out the massive big australian open draw that they get in the paper??? my mum has it all filled out >.< i use to do it when i was about 10.

edit: Lee hyung-talk is up against Gonzalez, ranked 7th...will be a hard match for him, but he had a promising start against gooch face...he was down 3 set points in the tie-break but came back to win the set, which set him up for the match.
