wow cant believe mafia are still in this. Doesn't matter who wins, the mafia was the better team even with all the gay imbalances against us.

This game has a maximum of 10 Days left.
38 Townies - 5 Mafia
10 Nights = 30 Townies Dead
10 Days without killing all the mafia = 6 Townies Dead
Leaving 1 Mafia vs 2 Townie
If it comes to that, it'll probably be a townie victory unless we are unfortunate enough to have 1 of the townies inactive. Then I assume it is first to cast their vote etc etc |

Chuiu might want to speed things up a bit by making a day a day and a night another day each. Can't imagine what could take the mafia so long to select among 32 all confirmed greens and 6 all confirmed veterans. This round could be over in 2 weeks and we could go onto the next one, yay!  |

You do realise that the very nature of the game requires there to be imbalances.
It's like Zerg vs Terran. Two completely different teams that function in different ways. Bringing up any singular "imbalance" is saying nothing at all. You might say that it's imbalanced that town gets 6 confirmed bodyguards right off the bat... but have you considered how "unfair" it is that mafia have a minimum kills per night of 3? I can tell you now that your list of "imbalances" is meaningless.
Either the game is imbalanced or it isn't, you can't have multiple imbalances. The game is as balanced as Chuiu makes his clues... no more no less. Stop your whining just because you got your ass handed to you by a very clever town (who by the way... aren't done yet).Last edit: 2008-06-17 16:58:45 |

not exactly Alethios, Mafia can be very imbalanced towards Town or Mafia. Some roles if too many or too few can mess up the dynamics of the game.
I'm interested in knowing what they felt were the imbalanced things that messed them up after game is over |

| Especially since they had a complete list of town roles handed to them on a golden plate in the middle of the game - a move which really could have easily been avoided, and yet with that kind of advantage, they still are in a difficult position ATM. Altho not to say Mafia can't win still. |

a big imbalance favouring the town is the growing clue lists on mafia members...
i think at some poing the clue list should be stopped, or it should be given once per two or three day/night cycles... dunno, just a guess

| I believe this game was/is imbalanced favouring town. Town made several REALLY big mistakes and still has good chances for winning. Clues are very hard to balance too. |

Now i'm going to have to disagree with you here.
I realise that a game can be very imbalanced towards Town or Mafia... but my point is that no individual thing is per se imbalanced.
Furthermore, i'll show that this game is not in and of itself imbalanced. But more on that once the game ends.
