UPDATE: eSTRO with new sponsor - Arena Sports
Live2Win and snowbird will bring you fresh news from Korea on a more frequent basis from now on. Samsung KHAN's participation in next season's Proleague in danger

Kespa runs a certain committee consisting of representatives from various companies that are related to Proteams. I am not entirely familiar with the system, but it seems like the committee members pay a certain amount of money to Kespa, which in return allows them to be part of the decision making process in Proleague related issues. Samsung, a member of this committee since June of last year, has repeatedly voiced dissatisfaction with Kespa's fund management and demanded a more transparent system as well as a new, more capable, committee chairman. Samsung felt that their requests were ignored, which finally resulted in the termination of their membership with the committee. In the heat of the moment, the Samsung representative allegedly also said that Samsung KHAN will not participate in next season's proleague under these circumstances. Kespa and Samsung are currently in the process of negotiation. A formal press release with a clarification of this issue will be released in the near future.

eSTRO with a new sponsor: Arena Sports
On March 14th Arena Sports has signed a 2 year sponsorship contract with eSTRO. Arena Sports is the leading brand for swimming sportswear in Korea. In the near future, eSTRO will be provided with new uniforms for the upcoming Proleague season. Sponsorship money is estimated to amount to about 250.000$. The eSTRO team has been training their teamwork by playing soccer and will leave for a training workshop on the 20th/21th of March to prepare for the new season.

Idra should already be in Korea, he was leaving the weekend after our TL Attack with him. I confirmed with snowbird earlier that Arena is not taking over estro, simply becoming a sponsor...The will make the uniforms similar to the way Ellesse (a womens shampoo in NA lol) sponsors OGN's uniforms |

Omg, i hope this will be a frequent segment on TL - I am very interested in the political climate of starcraft in korea, gossip and sponsorship etc. I think it is another dimension in sc. The only thing stopping me from surfing fomos is because of the language barrier. Cannot stress how awesome i think this segment is. I mean i have no idea wtf was going on during that KESPA fiasco.
