If ur muscles aint in maxim power and u train couple days very hard and eat properly and take some protein/hydrox/vitamin and you get much power in ur muscles and u can do many more reps than u did couple days before... gtg im going to the GYM right now.. |

| some of you guys are rly uninformed. how the hell would the amount of weight u lift in relation to the # of reps you do actually change how you rmuscles grow. if you work out u will get bigger stronger, thats it. |

^^ nice.... yea Rockclimbing does own ! started it almost a yr now, outdoor only a few months ago. Nothing like a nice climb followed by a nice dip in the hot springs... aaahh good stuff.

well.. you are welcome to "think" anything you want of course. but the fact is he is wrong. you can look it up in any physiology book
if you lose FAT your muscles will of course appear more lean, but the muscles themselves can only grow big/small and CANNOT be shaped or whatever with any exercise. How the muscles are shaped is determined entirely by your genesLast edit: 2003-09-13 03:52:33 |

You could either do long reps of little weights or short reps with Heavier weights. Either way you might achieve the same results.
If you want a six-pack ( ) Then Try to put a 10 pounder on your chest and try 20 situps. |

How many pullups can u make? at once point i could make max17 now i can make ~15 not sure 13-16... Old friend of mine could do over 30 =/)-|O< but i hardly think that he would do so many anymore... but it's soo fucking impossible to do pullup with 1 arm  not many ppl can do it... |

I guess it depends which sort u do. I do wide overhand grip. I dunno if under or over is harder but it's just what im comfortable with (cause of all the damn rockclimbing =P ). Push Ups + Chin ups + dips will improve ur upper body strength by quite a bit tho. U just need dedication to ur workout.

I also have many friends who rockclimb semi-pro like (like the ppl on X-Games) They can all do 1 handed pull-ups. It's kinda freaky to see. They is heaps skinny(lite) tho and have basically no bodyfat. Just all muscle.Last edit: 2003-09-13 17:35:50 |
