this thread to talk freely about book stuff concerning the show.
Examples:
- You guys are so wrong about stuff, in book X [...]! (NOT ALLOWED)
- In the books,
+ Show Spoiler + (NOT ALLOWED)
- Show diverts from the books here, in reality ... (NOT ALLOWED)
Temp bans for even the tiniest of spoilers. Just don't mention the books at all.
And if someone does spoil something, don't quote them and make a big deal about it just to make sure everyone sees.

I'm pessimistic. They'll make a shitty film from a good book yet again.
And it is hard to make good films from something which is as long as asoiaf. Each book is about as long as the whole LOTR, and it took three long films with a high budget to do LOTR in a decent way. |

It's a series of episodes, not a film. Hopefully hour long episodes. 13 Per book iirc. So that's hopefully thirteen hours per book, not so bad? |
