In fact, as far as I can tell this is the only way to play over any internet connection on a mac. The 1.16 patch killed the ability for macs to download maps and host maps. If you play on a map you already have then it seems that there is a chance it will work, but often times lags beyond recognition. Keep in mind I know this is a patch problem since I often play on my windows partition and that works just fine for every aspect of the game in all patches. Also, using 1.15.3 works over hamachi and used to work over battle.net. (Until they updated.) --- @v So, if there are many members of the community using macs that are trying to get help then they fail. Good post IMO. Not to mention a broader coverage of the starcraft community on iCCup would be devastating. @vv Another AWESOME post. See above. @vvv ^^ lol?

It works fine on mac, actually much better than it did pre-1.16, and yes you can host and download maps

Whenever I try logging into iccup it says that battlenet can't identify my application version, which doesn't happen when I try to log into normal b.net gateways such as europe. Any idea?

So is hamachi the only way to play with Lan Latency? I know Moletrap did it in the showmatches. You need hamachi X I heard. But then there are some issues, right? Or does it just work automatically? On PC you need to force SC to use the secondary (virtual hamachi) connection. Anyone?
