Somebody claiming a known camwhore is his girlfriend...Inc saying he wouldn't date a girl JUST because she was a walrus...(it's ok, I've got bigger tusks than him anyways)...plenty of pedo/masturbation jokes...lots of juicy stuff in this thread.

I am assuming that by now, there are a few new posters that have heard the name Lod-mika thrown around and not understood what was being talked about. Before you embark on a quest to learn about Lod-mika, you should probably read his ground rules here. ^

Practical Korean 2: 'I want to know your phone number'
+ Show Spoiler [Inevitable Disclaimer] +
I'm not Korean. I have no Korean blood. I cannot speak Korean fluently. In fact I've only been in Korea for 3 months. So don't go apeshit if I use a ㅔ instead of ㅐ or I offend anyone's acute nationalistic feelings. Rest assured though that I will not teach anything without being 100% that it's right.
Note on Romanization:
(Romanization is where the Korean is phonetically translated into English)
I hate Romanization and I strongly suggest any serious learners of Korean not to use it. It's just for the newbies. The problem with it is that different English speakers will pronounce the syllables differently and on an international forum like this, it's impossible for me to be accurate with it. There are different variations of Romanization and below I do my own version.

Yeah, let's not fuck around. This is one of the most important phrases in any language. I remember in one of scforall's vods, Daniel Lee was talking about Giyom and that this was one of the first bits of Korean he learnt.^^. So.. let us follow in his footsteps..Behold!:
전화번호를 알고싶어요. (cheon-hwa-beo-no-leul al-go-shi-peo-yo)
This is the polite form. But, as always, if you're talking to someone who you know is younger, you're close to them or you're feeling cheeky, simply drop the 요 (yo). So:
전화번호를 알고싶어요. (cheon-hwa-beo-no-leul al-go-shi-peo)
As an aside, if you say "Do you want to know my number?". You say the EXACT same words, but make sure you have a rising question-like intonation at the end.
+ Show Spoiler [Detailed Breakdown for the KEEN] +
전화 = telephone
번호 = number
를 = grammar (object marker)
알 = 'to know' (from the verb 알다)
고 = grammar (necessary with 싶다)
싶어 = 'to want' (present tense form of 싶다)
요 = polite ending

What do you think of when you hear the word Korea? SC no doubt... But how about food-wise. Maybe kimchi? This is what I think about:
