"I’m motbob, co-founder of The Hatchery corporation in EVE. For all intents and purposes, The Hatchery is Team Liquid. There’s a training corp in the alliance, but… eh."
You know considering we're on a recruiting hold over this thing, and have had members move up from spawning pool to hatch, we may not have huge numbers in SP right now. However, I'd like to think that the contributions of spawning pool doing rifter work and the logistics around that rate a little higher than, "but... eh."
at least a "but, meh"
totally worth that extra consonant Last edit: 2012-06-02 05:12:02 |

Found not one, but two offline pos's today. Offline pos' are like the officer spawns of wormholes. And just like any other random drop, mine sucked.
+ Show Spoiler +
Tons of stuff dropped, but nothing small of real value. One container had wormhole lewt, but only the crap stuff. As a note, seeing 10 ships immediately appear on grid is terrifying even when you're expecting it.
In other news, Chris Unsniped and I are looking to move into a C4, and we need your help! Contact me if you're interested. |

That system has a bonus to ship velocity. My 100mn tengu would have gone like 4km/s unheated :D
But, no agility and can't target anything, and probably would have died horribly in a fire. |

So far what I caught from WH life in volta it's a PvPers wet dream once you get past the initial shit. Logistics is a bit annoying, but you usually have connections 5-15 jumps from trade hubs. The cool part is that you raid other peoples places all the time, they never really know where you come from or what to expect from you.
Keeps PvP fresher than anything I've ever done in EvE. The biggest annoyance is that as soon as not everyone is around/active things can get slow rather quickly, e.g. we're moving together with Aquila in their hole over the summer thanks to... well, summer and D3 both our active numbers are kinda low atm. =P
For PvE you can't do that much solo (the sites which are doable solo usually net 150-220mil and are claimed by probers), but 500-750mil/hour/person once you have 6 dudes and are doing cap escalations is pretty neat.
Make sure you have a good static connection & ship replacements around. =S |

| What do you recommend for a small gang of ships? since i have 5mil sp i was thinking of just a rupture, and trying to get the other 2/3 people in rifters. Would that be fine? |

That was the end, but the means to that end were slightly more convoluted. |

Outer Ring is a weird place, mining bots, random ratting nidhogger, Mining Agents. The mining guys that live at the end of the pipe pocket out here, when I entered local, POS'd up their Macks and Orca, then (some of them) reshipped into a Scorpion Navy, Raven, Mega Navy, and a Kronos, and warped to the top of the Ice belt, where they had been mining. Then they just sat there....apparently as a show of force to scare me off. + Show Spoiler +
But anyway, no one lives out here except for like 3-4 systems, two of which are the mining ops, and the others are the station systems. Sites everywhere, I wish I could fly a tengu. |
