Ok, so it has 3 different weapon systems, with 3 different ranges, along with a core probe launcher.
In his mids, he has an afterburner and web and ECM. I suppose it could be worse (he could have fit 3 target painters or something), particularly for ratting.
His lows, he has an armor plate smaller than what I put on my rifter and some reactor power module.
And then he takes his armor tank, and throws it out the windows with 3 astronautic rigs (including a warp core optimizer!)
So to make it worse - fill mids with target painters and/or micro shield extenders.

His mids are ok i suppose - as you said they could be worse. But for the rest of the fit... EHP errr... less that a rifter. and it costs 10x as much, moves more slowly, prolly less dps because he has 3 diffrent types of guns. It has the small okness of some decnet(ish) e-war, but even then it has no point...

Stupidly lost my first cane while passing through a 0.4 system. Sigh. Given the fact I was avoiding PvP like hell until I got my T2 guns, that's kind of ironic.
Nevermind, awesome battle reports and I laugh so hard at the fail Thrasher/Rifter fit.

Really annoying night. My computer decided to die right as I entered eifer so I sat there in space for 30 minutes while I tried to get it not dying. Couldn't even load task manager but it was giving me eve as a slideshow so I saw a random red guy fly up, look at me for a while, lock me, wait for nothing to happen and then eventually attack me, all while eve kept pretending it was going to work any time now.
So, that happened. Then I was pissed off so I threw away another drake to him in what I guess could only be a gesture of "I don't care about drake losses". Decided I'd get a gang up and kill him the third time but I was so pissed off about the first two drake losses that I didn't even wait for my scimmy before going in for a third time, this time in a PvP drake. He had his alt there with ewar drones and they worked amazingly well. That makes three drakes lost.
