| I went out and PVP'ed with the boys today (Im at bout 1.3 million SP) and we took down an ishtar. Apparantly thats a good ship and we got some good loot. |

in a week of playing, probably less. i think some of us started pvp on our 5th day or so

| Skill is more important than skillpoints. You could buy a char with 20 mil SP but without knowing what you're doing, you're going to die fast. You can honestly spend 1 day getting skillpoints and you'll be useful in a gang of ships. |

No, he's correct. One day is all it takes to be useful. If you can train propulsion jamming, you can fit a web and a scram on a rookie ship if you want. As is a testament to our noobishness, we're going to remember forever that we tried to ransom a pod after losing scram on it. =P
Extra points/web on a ship is always good, it's just there are other skills that we need trained in order to be of a much greater help to a fleet, all of which can be trained in a week or less, depending on your learning skills/implants. |

depends. if youve been grinding missions its kinda low. but ask around the tl corp, youll get some good advice whatever your char does ingame
edit: oh you said skill points, i got it as isk, sorry
yeah its normal, its the new char gen system where you get like 50 k start points instead of 800, but you get double training time. its fine, just be sure to get basic learnings to lvl 4 during your double train time (which lasts until you hit 1.6 mil sp)Last edit: 2009-03-20 00:49:25 |

Mining sucks for money. If you want to make money from mining you need to find yourself a blueprint of an item and manufacture it from your mined minerals.

Ok now ive been searching google for an answer to the "real" differences between races and bloodlines and so forth.
