I'm pretty sure they revievew the replay before making that decision. He must have had a huge supply advantage, and score advantage.
This isn't ICCup. What you usually do on a tourney (at least in my experience, with not online, but LAN-like tourneys - I would argue a match like this falls in that category) is set a rule in case of a DC - something like if the score advantage is above 15%, and the situation isn't disadvantageous to the player with the score lead, you rule him as the winner. I think that's what happened here. |

Also, if anyone was listening...
F91 had like 4 drones at his third and Day[9] who is A-/A level Zerg said that last attack (which was failing) was F91's last chance to get back in the game. I think he knows what he is talking about. |

Hmm, if F91 would've defeated the Protoss force, he could have expanded himself, shut down Nony's third base (undefended), and be up 3.5 base to Nony's 2.
That being said, I think it should've been a rematch at least. I bet F91'll be pissed if he loses 3-4 :/ |
