There are 18 slots on the server, and only 10 players at any one time, so there should be slots open for observers. Just make sure you don't accidentally spawn and interfere with the matches. (Again, I recommend doing '/captureMode true' )

I think it has brought much experience to all the players involved, and I can guarantee to everyone that it has nothing in common with public games. Much more intensity, much more speed and teamwork is absolutely vital.
I call lies, because I doubt the ability of IntoTheWalls to field a full team for a scrim

The truth was told. They had a full team for while, and we played with chobo as a sub since we had only 4. Eventually one of their players left and they subbed in Rage. I don't know exactly how many games were played, but it was about 10 or 11, and ACE took them all.
anybody still got room on their team? I play with the loopy under "diehilde", maybe u have seen me online during the last days... If any team is interested please PM

so good luck to eeeverybody, and i expect a bloody fight to the last plane from even the most in-experienced teams.
monkey out
yeah, but i think most of the official message board overestimates themselves. obviously ts is the favorite going into the season, and i think v is the favorite for each week 1 game they are in (i picked an upset against them), but to say you are obviously 2nd best is silly. you're just not as stacked as ts is.
It's *really* difficult to avoid the 'us vs. them' mentality in most social situations. People who have been around a game longer will often assume they're superior to new players...just like people with high post counts on a forum assume their opinions should be held in higher regard than newer forum members. This isn't entirely unreasonable, but it should be obvious that 'length of time doing X' isn't the only factor that contributes to skill at a game / an ability to craft an insightful forum post.
Many of the players on the official forum have been playing the game for a long, long time. So, at this point, they're generally correct in assuming they're more skilled Altitude players. However, give TL players a couple more months to play and you'll see the skill gap close considerably.
Hopefully once the game ships people will just talk about 'the Altitude community' instead of speaking in terms of smaller factions.

Since there's still a pretty big skill disparity between players I don't think this is the case yet. Five skilled dog-fighters who are moderately capable of team play should still destroy moderately skilled dog-fighters who excel as a team.
[Don't get me wrong, teamwork is critical...and will be the deciding factor between evenly matched teams, but the dog-fighting skill of its members is still the most important component of a team's overall success.

Yea TLers put in a lot of time and improve very fast but any of the 3 teams from the official forums have a considerable advantage even against the better TL teams. I have to say though that a lot of the old schoolers in altitude aren't that great, there's a big difference between watching Pillars, Maimer, Protest boy etc. play compared to some of the others who are simply decent but already matched by some of the better TLers.
There was once a dream that was Esports. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish... Now is the time to make that dream a reality!

Or not really our level, but around ACE's level...maybe? We'll see when they actually play each other, but I'm not doubting TS in this league, they have both experience and a shitload of skill. Although from what I've seen of V, they have mostly just experience and some decent skill.

Into The Walls vs. Team Solid To be streamed Monday, 8 PM EST (9:00 KST) on TL's Altitude Channel. Tune in to hear Tec27's and my super impressive commentary of the opening day match up.
] Into The Walls, or [30D.O.M], is facing off against the presumed giant of the league: Team Solid - [TS]. Tec27 and I will be casting the game - you'll be able to watch it on Monday, April 27 at 8 P.M. EST. There can be no beating around the bush: Team Solid is the immediate favorite to win the game. They've got the experience and knowledge to compete with and beat any team in the league. Even more important, they've got big names - Pillars, to name just one, is the [TS] captain. But what about Dio, Skywalker, Yankeeboy, and Protest Boy? And that's just half of their team.
That makes Into The Walls the underdog. But don't be so quick to count them out: they've got recent activity on their side. Keen, in particular, is one of the most active players in the league. There's no doubt that you are much more likely to catch a [30D.O.M] tag in the TL server than a [TS] tag. That ought to offer more than a glimmer of hope to the team. If they scrimmage and put in a bit of effort, this game should be closer than you think.
[30D.O.M] is team 1, [TS] is team 2. This means [30D.O.M] has the first map veto and [TS] chooses the first map to be played.
