As many had say already, Midas gets a lot less of what he deserves, I guess the lack of titles is the cause, nevertheless I am glad you mention him here. |

Though didn't you kind of overdo the "oov is boxer's disciple" thing? Maybe it's just Boxer being modest but i'm pretty sure he always says that he definitely wasn't teaching Oov. He was a fellow player and focused on being a player, and that helping everyone out is the coach's job. Sure, having a great Terran in your team and household is helpful and eventually rubs off, but I always thought the whole "mentor" idea was added for more drama  . Again maybe he was just being modest, but I feel you kind of pushed the Master/Disciple idea so far that Oov kind of loses a lot of credit for what he did.
However concerning Fantasy... yeah he's totally coach Choi's puppet

| Great writeup. Fantasy has some great chances to grow, and in some of the games that he wins you can see him choosing between boxer's style and oovs style, especially in TvT, where he chooses to go agression soft mindgame contain with an economically agressive expansion |

Completely agreed here. He should have beaten Savior in Pringles in the Semifinals, but he choked right at game 4 in a game he should have won (see this for instance) and he did push savior all the way every time they clashed - 3-2 in Pringles, 2-1 in Shinhan. So close.. but just couldn't get that title |

Whats funny in that thread is someone called that Mumyung would be team captain. Of course in a joking manner back then, but look at him now! He IS! He's doing some great things for the SKT1 zergs.

Lots of good stuff, the Midas stuff was eye-opening.
I think Boxer was using Valks in Gom before Fantasy ever came out with them, and Oov has been seemingly been largely credited for these revolutionary builds of Fantasy's. Didn't really see that perspective in the article, you think it was more Fantasy? |
