Hello guys. Im lookin for someone who could help me with translate a little article. Its realy not much.

Therefore, priority will continue to attack close to the unit, if the relative unit was attacked and destroyed after the attack on the patrol command will have to once again. 2. Land within the range when you click the attack command, the attack on the patrol, but a move to attack the (critical attribute). ex) 4 term, and a drama's drama that's nearest and Fire 2-4 baet nearest Marine's drama is a drama that's a baet the Fire's 2-4 Dragos is the Marine attack. <Use> 1. Drive unit's melee attack enemy units using the range and effectively remove saljjaksaljjak fall back rather than use the patrol command to hold the land, taking the attack to higher concentration. 2. If you want to complete four iljeom Attack command (the päättynyt Patrol) should click on the unit. 3. Click the one you want to move the patrol point with all the nature and focus of attacks because of the nature of the attack to fall back when the hold command is better than sanghwangil (melee attack at the battle between the unit out a little a little out of control when parasitic " mubeu - Attack ground "simply" Patrol "and click back to the land efficiently). However, relative to the back of the drive unit gundeul outside the range of the drive's clicking for me to move to the point of control is a bit trickier. 4. No damage to the air unit of the Patrol, you should get your own, if I got hit. 5. Attacks, such as proximity to the unit, you can not just patrol the command first, a little bop (jilreot control glass). <Conclusion> 1. If you want to complete iljeom four units, or click myeongryeonghu wookeulrikhanda attack. 2. Range use, back out when the attack should be used to hold or Patrol. 3. Patrol to focus on the attack, control, ease of use that is profitable to hold. Just hold the command, you get the most out of the range relative to the unit can see the effect of iljeom 4. 4. Relative units like military units 드라 close range attack unit (millimeter attack unit), and mixed units, when the range attack, or patrol, rather than hold the command should be used (Patrol recommended). Because he holds the command to attack the Fire baet Marine attack in a faraway place, but even if the attack or where the nearest patrol unit was first to attack. 5. Effective control of the unit close to attack "mubeu - Attack ground" rather than simply a "patrol the land," It is better to write (move slightly to the back automatically). ex) jilreot when dealing with the juggling, "patrol the ground," able to avoid the use kultaimeul Juggling becomes faster. * Attack the land: "a" and then click the ground * Patrol the land: "p" and then click the ground Source: STR Clan Source: View the original Super Star Craft Club Author: sscc [gon] |

Funny there´s a word in finnish in the translation :D 2. If you want to complete four iljeom Attack command (the päättynyt Patrol) should click on the unit. päättynyt = finished

Hold Position, Patrol, and Attack Command's usage
Written by: Grge.Baby
Views: 14
<Differences, Characteristics)
1. Response time: Patrol > Hold > Attack (The order sometimes is flipped around depending on the situation)
2. Attack and Patrol automatically target the closest unit within range. (Focused attack)
3. Hold position is random however. (Damage spread out)
4. Hold Position makes you stay in one spot and attack immediately. Patrol and Attack tend to move to the target location than attack and this tendency is much common for Patrol.
<Details>
1. Once the first target is killed by an Attack or Patrol command, the next targets chosen are random. So if you want to attack the closest unit every time, you need to issue the Attack or Patrol command each time.
2. If you command units to attack to a location within their attack range, they attack from that position but if you use patrol, they move to the position first.
ex) When you have four dragoons, each next to a marine with the fourth dragoon next to a firebat, each dragoon attacks its closest target
<Usage>
1. If you want to attack enemy melee units with a group of dragoons, instead of using Hold, use Patrol to focus fire.
2. If you want a perfect focus fire, use the attack and click on the enemy unit.
3. Because the patrol command tends to move and focus fire, it is better than hold position in positions where you have to retreat and attack. (When having a melee unit vs melee unit battle, it is better to use patrol than move-attack) However when you order a dragoon to patrol and there are no enemy units in range, it will simply move back so it's a little tricky.
4. Air units without attack automatically run away when ordered to patrol
5. When fighting a melee unit with the same kind of unit, using patrol will cause it to attack slightly faster. (Useful in Zealot control)
<Conclusion>
1. For perfect focus fire use attack (click on unit) or right click (on unit)
2. When using ranged or hit and run type of attacks, use patrol or hold position.
3. In the situation above, use patrol for focus fire, hold position is however more comfortable
4. When using ranged units against a mixture of ranged/melee units, use patrol or attack because it will focus on the closest unit (Patrol recommended) If firebats are attacking you dragoon, using hold position will cause your dragoons to attack marines far away as well. Using patrol/attack will cause you to attack the closest firebats first.
5. When using melee units, Patrol is better than move-attack. (automatically moves back a little bit)
ex) Using zealots against zerglings, use patrol to counter Zergling's fast attack speed

Wow this is actually very useful. Many things I didn't know... thanks!
When it says response time Patrol > Hold > Attack. Means patrol is slower than hold and hold is slower than attack?
edit: I think a mod should edit the title so people know this is about Patrol - Attack - Hold pos.Last edit: 2009-05-27 20:49:59 |
