I actually didn't realize that Fairy Tale had an anime until now.
Having read the manga, would it be worth watching the anime? Or does it follow the manga fairly exactly anyways?
I've always liked one piece, and it seems like it'd be fairly similar animated, so I figured I'd ask. |

To be honest, when I checked the translation of V Gundam, I saw a scene where I female officer baths with a gundam pilot and that was....weird. So uh, are you sure it's not like that?  But, the problem is that I prefer shows(and the characters in it) like Gundam Wing and so, even though it's considered rather weak, it's probably the best out of them(for me at least). Plus, the comment which that one person wrote, isn't exactly helping in that regard. Anyway, I will see it when I watch those shows. SEED and 00 seem to be the worst out of the selection regarding "romance". Another matter, why do the Gundam shows feature nudity? The original Gundam had Mirai and Fraw and the film had Sayla...so all female characters were covered. 08 MS Dai had Kiki and Victory Gundam has a bathing scene in it as well. Isn't that somewhat weird? ^^
I'm sure the Japanese version of Wing had nudity in it somewhere as well, but its been a while. Obivously stuff like that was edited out of the US release. I'd say its more of a result of it being anime, than being Gundam. The main character of Victory is like a 12 year old kid, and the show goes to great lengths to make his life as bad as it possibly can be. Alot of the adult women in the show tend to feel very... Maternal around him. But anyway, its really one of the darkest Gundams. The show practically introduces people to kill them. The part where they decide to attack him with rocket launcher weilding, bikini wearing, jet-pack wearing is the most ridiculous thing I've seen in a Gundam show, but its also the only thing I can remember being like that lol
Are you sure? The tags on AniDB tell me otherwise and since I didn't see anything, I was convinced. I guess I have to check it sometime in the future(wonder which character it is then, Relena? oO) Hm, Macross had no nudity in it, so...yeah(not counting that one OVA with the loli).
12 years old? Looks like the pilots are getting even younger, lol. Oh well, I wonder what kinda things await me, when I watch it. I would lie when I said that it doesn't seem weird to me(the show, that is). At least the introduce-to-kill isn't new to me. In the original gundam, they did it with that older guy as well. |

Macross had a bath scene with a nude Minmey in it, didn't it? When they were stranded in the ship early on. Anyway, its been a while, but I'm sure there was some nudity in Wing, I just can't remember when/where.
Zeta Gundam was the first "Tomino Kill-em-all". And Victory is even more of a blood-bath than Zeta. So if you think that the original Gundam had alot of introduced-to-kill type characters, you haven't seen anything yet lol
Also, just to make a note, since I actually watched that youtube link from Victory I posted. Avoid that translation. It sucked. "Tyres"? Those are called "Tires", because they were giant tires. If I remember correctly, you don't see anything...not entirely sure though. Have to check it later, when I transfer some data to my extern HDD.
Hm, the more people die, the better it is, at least as long as there aren't other people who shout and cry because of their death -.- Well, reading that makes me more optimistic at least 
I went with HL and they have a white font. So I doubt it's them. |

Nah. I remember just a few months ago I'd wake up and see this thread on the second page.
