General Forum has gotten 100x better since the great Kwark crackdown. The US presidential elections thread has actually been pretty civil and has resulted in some pretty good discussion. If Kwark and the other mods keep it up, we may actually have a decent General Forum...
Problem is some people are still using General Forum as a dumping ground to let out their rage/outrage/indignation over random news stories which result in just terrible threads. That stuff belongs in blogs, it ain't worthy of a discussion thread in General.
