I'm almost 100% sure it was CharlieMurphy, who was perma banned at 22893 posts. Unless a mod who just has a LOT of posts took a ban by request, I think that's the highest. Maybe Incontrol at some point? Not sure. edit: Fixed the post count at which Charlie was permabanned edit2: Oh, and also, don't be scared to come in here and discuss bans. What in fuck did he do to get perma banned? Holy hell, is that a blow to the ego or what. Also, thanks, I will aspire to be a bootlicker as well.
I won't retell the entire tale of CharlieMurphy, but here's the long and short of it:
Guy registers on TL, posts a lot, posts badly, gets banned (x10), kind of tries to improve, keeps posting badly, keeps getting banned, eventually gets permabanned after like 15-16 temp bans.
I wasn't around when he was, so I obviously didn't experience this firsthand, but as far as I'm aware this is approximately correct.
Users who have been around for a few years don't really just get perma-banned straight up, unless they have some previous mod history. In Charlie's case, he had a lot of it. |

I think the question was not "what the hell did he do to get permed", but "how the hell did he survive so long without getting permed"
Welcome to bootlicker country then, have a nice stay.

Oh yeah, that's true.
He was allowed back on his alt account, SpoR, where he had a LOT of bans, as well, and was eventually permed, too, not too many months ago, if i'm not mistaken. |

While kind of a duplicate, there's actual discussion occuring in the LoL subforum.
I glanced at the first page of the general discussion topic and got out of there as soon as I could Last edit: 2012-03-15 02:01:33 |

Good to know, care to share why or should we just take your one-liner for it? Btw, which LoL thread? Im curious and bored =3
This one http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=320609Better to stay far far away from it though, just people going off on individual rants, who have little to no desire to continue contributing after the rant. ALSO!!!!!! Conspiracy talksz! For some reason, I have a feeling that [V} is actually GG.NoRe
Thank you for this! I was meandering around the LoL subforum looking lost and confused as to where the fun was. No I don't think I will post in that thread because then I would be invested but it is sure darn fun to read through as I listen to the never ending conference call from hell.
