i think your prediction is wrong.
EPL fkn exciting this year, chelsea prolly looking strongest, united up there with them, liverpool a little worse and arsenal being a dark horse, then also with city seriously trying to push into top 4..
too bad its also not exciting at all because the coolest team in the league is no longer in it but whaeva |

PL is indeed very exciting. United are weaker this year (no real replacement for Ronaldo) whereas Liverpool (they have Aquilani!) and Chelsea are just as good as last season. Arsenal are the big losers of the Silly Season, and if City can make a team out of all their good players they might, as you say, push into top 4. I still believe Roma will win PL, though.
La Liga will be a two horse race, simple as that. No other team will be able to compete with Barca or Real. Barca will be just as good as last year (if not better; Zlatan rules!), so the question is; will Real be able to make all their new superstars work together? But in the end it doesn't really matter; Roma will win.
Serie A is looking weak as hell now that the 2 biggest names are gone (Zlatan and Kaka). A good thing about that is that there is no way of knowing which team will win now that Zlatan is gone (Inter relied soooo much on him). Roma will however end up with the Scudetto thanks to an uninjured Totti. |

Don't count Arsenal out. Arsene Wenger believes this is the year, he has stated that he turned down the offer of working at Real Madrid to win the title. I'm not convinced but they have strengthened the squad and will be challengers. Don't forget Tottenham either. They wont win but they can break the top 4. Jermaine Defoe is in the form of his life, they have a good defence, strong midfield and I believe the best manager in the league. This PL will be interesting. Personally I think Chelsea will walk away with it, but we'll see. |

Chelsea is certainly going to be the favorite as I stated in the other thread. Man U will probably be chasing them the entire season for the 1st spot. I love Tottenham but they have always had problems in their defense so hopefully they can get that figured out this season.
Liverpool I don't see being that great of a team they are seriously lacking in defense as well. Arsenal I hate so I won't comment on that team out of pure bias against them. |

yea I really wouldnt rule arsenal out this season.. the thing is that they have such a young team that you can actually expect virtually all of their players to become better than they were last season, them winning at the transfer market isn't a requirement.. I think chelsea is the favourite for the title, united closest competitor, liverpool and arsenal slight chances at winning, and city with a chance at knocking either liverpool or arsenal out of top 4.
and la liga is gonna have barcelona getting about as many points as last season, prolly between 3 and 6 less, real madrid getting some points more than last season, and every other team trailing far behind. |

| I agree Drone, I think even with all of RM signings they will still end up 2nd place rofl |

Looking at the current team (including injuries), just in line with season starting tomorrow, I would say that MU is probably the worst at the moment with Liverpool closing in (depending on Gerrard) and then Arsenal. Chelsea have got all their relatively unimportant players injuried and looks strongest.
MC doesn't looks too good either, and I doubt their players can gel and perform into the top 4 this season. Tottenham is a major unknown because although King is not 'listed' you know whats up with him anyway, the ability to break down any second. I think Villa just lost it a little because Laursen is not here, the same with Barry and their defense look relatively weak. |

IMO Inter attack is better now. Milito + Eto'o are a great combo.
La Liga a two horses race?, sadly yes. If RM keeps Sneijder and Robben they will have way better subs than Barça, but still behind in teamplay for a while.
PL is a hard call. My bet is ManU = Chelsea > L'pool > Arsenal > City |

| i doubt city will as good as challenging the top 4. more than likely everton, fulham, villa, tottenham etc will take up spots outside of the 4 with man city behind them |

Which injury are you talking about? He did fine in the Confed Cup. At RM he just got a different role plus is still settling.
For me at least, it won't be the end of the world in RM don't win anythinig as long as the football is as sexy as during Galacticos I. I can imagine if we play counter-attacking football we could have a good chance against pretty much anybody this season (Kaka + Ronaldo + Benz/Higuain is ridiculous), but I'd rather take another Quieroz season, than another Schuster season. |
