+ Show Spoiler + The FXOpen games against MKP were..... Strange.... to say the least. They didn't really play a macro game, but MKP made some early pressure/all-in to really crack Polt's play. I wonder why he chose to not meet Polt in a "standard" game? Is it because Polt won 2-0 in the WB? Anyway, good job Polt, you came a long way in the FXOpen Invitational! Good luck tomorrow against Creator, we know you can do it

Either he will open banshees, 15 CC or 1 rax expand ---> 3 rax. You don't see hellion play or those marine-tank pushes he loved to use earlier in his career. And it sucks balls because his opponents are realizing this and punishing him for being too passive. MVP perfectly countered his 1 rax expand on Dual Sight, Sculp got away with an absurdly fast third (for mech anyway) in GSTL, and of course MKP did what he did. He did do some nice 1 base play against Heart in the NASL qualifiers, but there was probably some mindgaming going on there. EDIT: WTF? Who responds to a proxy marauder rush by expanding?

First two games were early pushes by Creator while Polt expanded first both times. Maru caught Polt in the first game and double expanded after his early push, making the rest of the game an easy win. In G2, Maru went for an immortal bust, but Polt held and counter attacked for the win. In G3, Polt defended for a one base early push, had two bases up plus bunkers, but Creator went super greedy with an early third and pushed in for the win. Didn't play awful, but Creator was good at metagaming in the third game. Hopefully he'll win Assembly to get back on track.

Not saying Protoss is OP versus Terran, but that Creator came into the series with a great game plan and stuck to it. If Polt scouts the quick third by Creator and doesn't try to bunker for an early push, Polt wins easily. Except Polt waited and didn't wanna die early, so Creator was able to get three quick bases and push into a timing that Polt had zero chance of stopping.

Actually this could a blessing in disguise. Disregarding ASUS ROG Polt has no matches for over a month. That gives him a lot of time to fix the weaknesses of his play, particularly his reluctance to commit to early game attacks. MKP's consistency went to another level once he learned to curtail his aggression, the same can happen for Polt if he embraces it.

Hopefully, as CosmicSpiral pointed out, he can work on his weak areas. Thinking back on the Puzzle games, his current Ghost play is not the best, and it will have to be top notch in this current meta game. Love seeing you play Polt, keep up with all of the hard work you put in, and you will own everyone once again! Polt hwighting! btw, loved the Korean commentators (Translator John, and Mr. Chae, and who else was it?), would love to see GSL games casted in korean by korean commentators, it is true what they say, korean commentators have more feeling/hype in them!

TSL\ Polt Type\ PhoeNix Dignitas\ BlinG TLAF-Liquid\ TLO I'm having a mixed feeling about this group. I don't know how well Phoenix plays (well, he was eliminated in the first group stage at DHW11) but TLO has shown what he is capable of recently. + Show Spoiler + Having a real good run in the IPL TAC against Prime At least, he isn't up against Puma in the first group play! :D edit: wait, I misread BlinG as being Bischu :O that's the Swedish part in me I guess.... Things can get a bit trickier then, but I do believe still that Polt should be able to beat him. After all, I mean, Polt is top level korean GM Still, it will be fun to see the games! So excited :D:D:D:D

Polt has himself said that he will not leave TSL (of course, this isn't the end all be all) and also he hasn't been in TSL for such a long time, at least compared to all the other players which left TSL in the latest series of changes. Furthermore, Polt is now captain of TSL, and Polt will probably (my impression of it at least) go back to school within, maybe half of a year? Not really enough time to switch teams etc. But, I do know that Polt said that aLive was his best friend at TSL before he left :/
