By lock in the WC finals I meant OKC would be there, not necessarily win--sorry.

It was a great win but it doesn't put them in clear cut #1 status when San Antonio has been the best team in the West the last week. Last two and a half, actually!

Felt a bit touched by this Gilbert article. I feel like I'm one of the minority who loved everything he did for our city, and was quick to forgive him for his foolishness (yes, it was a mistake, but I mean there're worse things athletes have done that have been forgiven). It seems like he's finally getting his life back together, and even if he never makes it back to the NBA I hope he enjoys the rest of his life as much as he's finally enjoying it now :3 Edit: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/sam_amick/02/20/gilbert.arenas.qa2/index.html ^- part 2, not as personal though but you get the intelligence he showed on his blog back in the day about business and such.

Could they win, yes, but it will be a struggle. are we watching the same team? 1. westbrook is great b. ibaka, harden, perkins should all fulfill your very good (how many centers would you honestly take over perkins its a position in termoil) III. they are deep (but a little less without maynor TT)

Bosh plays smaller and is worse on defense but is a better scorer but not by too much. They are pretty equal. and the heat are wayyy better than the knicks theres no argument there.. i was just pointing out flaws in the matchups someone else brought up

He lives down the road from me, and comes into my restaurant every few months. I honestly hope that this has kicked him in the nuts and make him realize that he needs to try and step his game and life up. He was really nice the few times I saw him, but sometimes he says idiotic things. I hope he's gotten his stuff together.

Bosh is really good defensively. Last year he was ranked with Dirk at the top for PFs in iso defense. He's also one of the best help defenders around, and can switch to even contain smaller guards because he's so quick. Bosh has been great in Miami as a 3rd option. Stoudemire is great at rotating and playing help defense some of the time. He just doesn't have good fundamentals and can't guard big guys in the post. Amar'e has been great with any player except Carmelo, That doesn't take away from the fact that he's still a damn good offensive option and you're right - he was putting up MVP type numbers at the beginning of last season. They aren't really equal though because as good as Stoudemire is offensively, defensively he just isn't versatile enough to be in the same class as Bosh.
