Team MVP, house to famous SC2 players such as DongRaeGu, Genius and Keen, will hold a public draft for its League of Legends team. This is only the second time a Korean Starcraft 2 team will create a LoL team, after Startale decided to do so back in October 2011 (TL thread).
The prerequisites: - Over 1900 rank points - Must have a Korean LoL account - Must be willing to live in the MVP house
The draft will be held between March 19th and 24th, and a few candidates will begin a trial period of 2 months in the house. After this period the final chosen ones will form the newest Korean LoL professional team.
Head Coach Choi Yoon Sang said that he's also looking for coaching staff for the upcoming team, and that there is a chance that this team will operate under a different name. (T/N: I can't fathom why, but that's what he said in the article, twice)

Very interesting news, thanks for posting. Do you also have a link to the Korean ladder?

Hopefully they do better than StarTale's team.

Could you clarify how the StarTale team is doing poorly? They qualified for the upcoming OGN tournament which isn't bad

Qualify doesn't amount to being good. From an NA/EU perspective (TL's here really), MiG and EDG are pretty much ahead of the pack when it comes to doing well.

time to finish leveling on KR and then get gud

Statistically speaking, probably not. But if you watched any of the MiG and ST games from OGN Invitational, you could form an opinionated assessment. Of course one tournament isn't everything but it is a little something to go on.

wow, too bad this is only for korean players they could probably pick up a lot of talented NA players and give them good korean training in a team house

Says nothing about needing a KR SSID#. So if talented NA players want to apply (and are willing to fly), they need to download KR client, find a level 30 account and start grinding.

iirc, loco said they have weekly tournaments in Korea.
Also MiG and EDG have won pretty much every tournament in Korea so far. While the scene is still new and both teams could just end up being forgotten or something as the scene develops as of right now it's hard to argue that any other team in Korea is as good as MiG or EDG.

MiG's B team is beating other people's A teams.

Every tournament is what exactly? So far I only heard of the OGN invitational. Can you at least link to some pages, results etc.

Where? When? Please post some information instead of just claiming things.
