I've had fair success with this strategy and I'm pretty sure this cheese is a completely original idea.
The build is to eng bay block his expo, proxy a 16cc, then wall off the bottom of his ramp with the cc. The eng bay block prevents the 15hatch (and thus the blocking creep spread). Cancel the eng bay block at the right time and u can start your PF in range of a near-complete hatchery at his natural. Follow this is up with your barracks floated over and a fast siege tank, and his mineral line is dead (on a map like metalopolis).
Build order: 10supply (@ your ramp wall) 13 eng bay block at zerg natural 16 hidden proxy cc 17 gas 17 barracks (@ your ramp wall) (cancel eng bay when cc is 40-50sec complete) 18 gas and eng bay (@ your ramp wall) @rax completion - OC, marine, factory @cc completion - float his ramp bottom and wall it off with cc and eng bay PF

this build is pretty awesome, although if the command center is seen being built than it has no chance. Creative nonetheless!

It`s good to know typical zergling pathing, and overlord placement so you don`t reveal it for free. Low-ground between the third and gold on metalopolis is best as that spot is typically even unchecked for proxy rax. Metalopolis is also probably the only map I`d suggest using this strat on if you are serious about winning often.

dude.... thats the coolest strategy ever. wow thats cool
|
ahahaha awesome cheese, I love it!

I like it, but the way to stop it is to put a drone under the CC before it lands.....once it lands your ahead. I wonder if there is enough time to do that after you see the CC flying in?
|
That was very funny. Too bad it's so easy to stop.
|
I used to do it when i was in bronze against protoss and terran. It worked so well on scrap station.

Most maps have spots where you could put it and be relatively confident that they won't scout.

this is pretty cool, I might do this in bronze league
