Vibe spawns 2:00 Suppy at 8:00. Both 14 pool, 15 hatch, 17 gas 27 ling speed etc. Vibe a little bit slower on his baneling nest by about 15 seconds, but otherwise each player has identical openers. Once vibe's baneling nest finishes vibe builds 14 lings and the action begins. Vibe takes several game changing hits on lings, and drones and at the end of the first engagement is up 10 supply. Vibe continues to apply pressure and slowly but surely Suppy is forced back until he finally gets a very nice baneling hit and stabilizes and quickly goes on the offensive to try to come back in this game. Suppy's lings get right into the main as vibe is a little late morphing his banelings and loses massive numbers of drones and a queen and after his counterattack Suppy is up 10 supply and goes to take his third. Vibe follows suit but only after Suppy's third is already up and running. Vibe senses his grip on the game slipping away and goes for a desperate effort, attempting to sneak around some infestors to flank but Suppy's overseer shuts that down and the game goes to Suppy.

During the International, you would have a panel talking about the game. LoL WC you had at least the casters talking about the previous series. This tournament is simply: - Series - Cut scenes - Series - Cut scenes - Series - Cut scenes It's just lifeless. LoL WC had interviews and team intro videos and everything too. Hell, the Grand Finals had an orchestra open the ceremonies XD

I suppose they can be good if you can pretend not to have ever read anything, watched anything, or played anything that is not related to Blizzard stuff. I am not a snob, but this kind of stuff is just cringe-worthy.

This is a bit of a cliche already but the more I watch a non-Dreamhack tournament the more I value Dreamhack's entertainment ability (the best and funnier filler content imo).

Considering the Flashpoint novel, it makes it all the more awkward.
