FXOpen eSports, a pioneering and champion team in Starcraft 2, is pleased to come to you with news of our further expansion into the eSports scene. Since it's inception, Team FXO has made a huge splash in SC2 eSports with impressive wins in GSTL, MLG, IPL, and many other high profile tournament venues. FXO recently announced a new North American squad with the goal of launching a SC2 and LoL roster. With this expansion, FXO now maintains a presence in Korea, Europe, and North America.
Introducing FXO.LoL. We've spent several tedious months analyzing players and teams throughout the North American LoL scene, and have confidently come to a decision on a roster with the acquisition of Team Clasik. With the helpful advice of multiple professional players and community members deeply involved in the scene, we feel that this roster will effectively represent our organization while maintaining the same dedicated and positive attitude that our organization values as a catalyst for success.
Team FXO's CEO had this to say...
FXOpen has always had a different approach to esports than other teams, however it's a method that works. We first decided to venture into LoL a number of months ago, we had a very specific approach in mind. We Identified a number of weaknesses in our own organisation and those within the LoL scene in NA to find the most effective entrance into the scene. We decided that we would aim for an up and coming team with potential and the right mindset over an already established team, apply our already established training methods created by our organisation in our current training facility and plan long term. This method removes stress from players and allows them to only focus on improvement without false expectations. Finding the unique characteristics to what we wanted was a difficult challenge at first, but I am confident that with team classik coming on board both sides have much to offer each other. Moving forward our goals are nothing more than gradual improvement over time with a long term outlook, the only way to go is up. -Daniel 'FXOUnstable' Siddel

How did you first get involved with Team Clasik?
Navitar: I was invited towards the tail end of Season 2. At the time I entertained the notion of playing semi-competitively but decided to commit more time after seeing potential in the team.
408: I received a friend request from Clasik Tsunamiie, who asked me if I would like to play top for his team since his previous top laner "Rhux" moved to Curse Gaming.
JRT: Brian messaged me after I stomped him in solo queue, and invited me to join.
Daydreamin: JRT asked me to tryout as support, and I saw the potential in the team. I played with them several tournament matches and decided to join them as a main player.
Entus: I came across Team FXO when they were looking for a LoL team and observing individual players. I was always online for practice and was eventually asked to sub for Team Clasik. I was then asked to join the roster.
SaiXenos: I became affliated with Team Clasik after JRT, whom I've known in the past, asked me to become the support for his team.
Tsunamii: After leaving my previous team, I decided to start a new team to compete in Season 2 and 3. I got a group of players I met from solo queue together and decided to make "Team ClasiK"

You guys recently won 1st Place in Alienware Arena Fall Season 2012. How did you feel about this victory and what factors do you think contributed to your strong performance?
Navitar: The team had a strong showing at Alienware Arena. I was able to see what the team was capable of when everyone had strong presence in the game, and I believe our team's eagerness to prove themselves contributed to the victory.
408: Rhux was playing for the team at the time, I replaced him when he left for Team Curse.
JRT: I felt a sense of triumph, even though the final match itself was a breeze. We realize we constantly need to work on improvement, and we wont get distracted by our achievements.
Daydreamin: I replaced SaiXenos who was playing Support during this tournament.
Entus: I was not on the team at the time.
SaiXenos: I felt great since it was our first major victory. I think that all our hard work towards communcating with one another was the most important factor of our success.
Tsunamii: We originally had to forfeit a Go4LoL tournament game to Olympus 5 (Team we played in the finals), due to DDoS. It felt great to get revenge and get $1000 along with it
