Overview
oGaming Academy
The oGaming Academy is mostly derived from vVv Gaming under the tag Aspire, whom merged with oGaming on February 28th, 2013. Since the merger, this then Diamond/Low master team has progressed to the mid master to borderline GM level. The oG Academy shows no signs of slowing their progress, and looks to demonstrate its talent by taking on the debuting Clarity Community team. In an interesting twist, two members of the Clarity Community group, Warren and Coldflame, currently play for the oG Academy, and will thus be fielded for OGA's roster.
Clarity Community Team
The Clarity Community Team are the cream of the crop in the developmental system of the Clarity Gaming Academy. These GM/High-Master players are out to show that they are the best players in the NA amateur scene. When considering their lineup, it’s a difficult claim to argue with, fielding the highest level players available all with the drive and determination to breach that threshold into the professional scene. By participating in showmatches, they have found a way to demonstrate to the Clarity management that they can and will compete at the next level.

oG Academy vs CGco
Sandshrew vs Fede
+ Show Spoiler +
WCS America Akilon Wastes
Starting off things for oG’s Academy, we have Sandshrew, a European Terran. A late replacement, Sandshrew's style is much akin to that of the Pokemon -- agile, elusive, and hard-hitting. CGco is challenging this style with Fede, a solid Protoss that immediately made a strong showing in the inhouse Community tournaments, taking games off of favored contestants. Will Sandshrew's style shine through, or will Fede overcome the odds again?

Coldflame vs Strykerz
+ Show Spoiler +
WCS America Bel'shir Vestige
The biggest rivalry in North American amateur StarCraft lies in these two players. Both residing in Arizona, these players first met in a showmatch BO5, where Strykerz took a decisive 3-0 victory. They again met in the finals and then again in the grand finals of an Arizona online event. Having spent hours upon hours of practice together, Strykerz is the key founder of Coldflame’s notorious gateway heavy style, and as the key proponent of this style, Strykerz is very much ready for it. Failing all of that, these two know each other personally, which should prove itself to be an interesting wheel of mind games. Expect something wild.

WCS America Neo Planet S
Nightshade (ingame ID, TaylorSwift) recently had a fair showing at MLG Anaheim in the Open Bracket, narrowly losing both games to ROOTCatZ. This Protoss player is coming back with a vengeance, taking on Steadfast, a Zerg making his debut in such environments as this. Will Steadfast rise to the occasion, or will Nightshade get the satiety he needs after such a frustrating loss at MLG?

Grippe vs ElhayM
+ Show Spoiler +
WCS America Newkirk Precinct
CGco’s ElhayM was a handful of games away from making the cut and being a member of the Clarity Academy back in April. Despite coming up short, he's stood resolute and continued improving to the ace position of the Community Team. oG’s Grippe, replacing Darkness in the lineup, was hoping to land a ZvP but got an unlucky draw with CGco's Terran Ace. Can Grippe rise to the occasion and conquer the daunting challenge ElhayM presents, or will the Clarity's Ace assert his dominance?

Hiei vs Scrible
+ Show Spoiler +
WCS America Korhal Sky Island
In the battle of the captains, CGco’s Scrible once managed xO’s B team, while Hiei is captain of oG’s academy. While Scrible has not retained his captain position following the team switch, he has retained the drive to prove himself worthy of that title. Whether or not Hiei pulls out this win in Scrible's strongest matchup, he will surely set the tone for the rest of the match for his team.

Haphazard vs. Bop
+ Show Spoiler +
WCS America Whirlwind
Haphazard is the Top Terran threat presented by oG’s Academy; his macro has often left opponents with false feelings of victory after losing key battles, remaxing seemingly instantly. CGco’s Bop, however, will present him a grand challenge. A very creative Zerg, Bop has more than demonstrated skill of his own, doing extremely well in inhouse practices and tournaments within Clarity’s community, Bop’s creative play will present Haphazard with a unique challenge fitting for an event of this caliber.
