Oh wow I never knew that afreeca had their own bangs. Thanks for all the info!

Have they said what the prize pool will be or is that TBD?

Weren't the qualifiers initially meant to take place on the 25th and 26th of March?

I really hope at least the last game in the Duals is bo3. It's so jarring to have players go from a 2-game/3-game series of bo1 straight to a bo5.

(before any crowd funding or any additional bonuses) Price pool looks very good! So They're going to add crowd funding there?

(before any crowd funding or any additional bonuses) Huh so the base prize pool is lower than before.
Do you have any info on the other placements? Like how much do the 5th-8th finishers get. Or the Ro16/Ro24 players?
Edit: Dumb question. Easy to find on the page. 500,000 krw 5th-8th 300,000 krw 9th-16th 150,000 krw 17th-28th
Another question: Anyone knows how they are going to play this out? They need 18 broadcasting days but only have 16 (with the final being on a Saturday). Are they going to play the groups oldschool? With one game of a group each broadcasting day? Unless I made a mistake it just doesn't fit

I would love the old style, as I believe it makes for better stories but allegedly last time they already did it in the GSL-way to avoid deciders in the round robin phase. It's hard to schedule for that.
I think ASL2 had 17 match-days (6 days of group phase 1, 4 days of group phase 2, 4 days of quarters, 2 days of semis, & 1 final day), this time they might hold two quarters and the the semis on the same day?
Sounds good, especially since I think some of the lesser matchups had a smaller audience.
EDIT: Oh, their website states the schedule and it's indeed 18 match-days. Weird.

The difference is because apparently they will do a series for 3rd place this time

I think the qualifiers for ASL 2 had something like 700 sign-ups. Players? Yes. Lots.
