Doomfist is far in development. Also has nothing to do with the event next week.

Ye, we have 1, the only one, that fulfills his role. everyone else isn't anything close to reinhardt. He's needed almost evrey game.

http://comic.playoverwatch.com/en-us/tracer-uprising doubt it will be a Melee tanky tank. And Orisa works well paired with another damage blocker (so that you can always have a shield ready to block ults). So Rein not needed anymore, but most people are better with him, because they are used to playing around a Rein. For example Rein sets up further back and pushes forward. Orisa sets up at the front and slowly walks backwards.

+ Show Spoiler + i'm glad to see Blizzard continues to deliver PvE content. the larger this PvE event is the better... and i hope this theory is correct. I see your theory, the issue is that apparently there was a leak or something at a place called bafta. I have no idea what bafta is. I guess the overwatch peopel are there. There is something about old skins in the game and like a thing wtih reaper. I don't follow it and i guess the original post is gone for the 4tan boards. As far as I understand, the event is suppose to have a video which indicates a reason for reaper, something about mccree losing his arm, old skins for overwatch characters, and like a new hero. There's something else about like Overwatch being closed after something fails. I don't know this is all hear say so like I don't have any actual verifiable information, so i'm afraid to get into it in an actual post. Sometimes i can ask around and find someone who knows a thing or two this time i've been able to find any connections. The other thing everyone is talking about is dive comp defense meta. I have no idea what this actually means. It never comes up on streams and i don't see it run really on NA. Maybe i need to play KR to know it.

You see it some times in GM/Masters ... but people know it needs some good coordination to work. (or if there is a one trick on the attacker side that is weak to dive)

(or if there is a one trick on the attacker side that is weak to dive) For a long time the strongest defense was considered 3 tank. now people are saying its dive. I'm not sure why its considered the strongest defense. I'n not sure why its considered meta on the korean ladder as well or why its so popular in the circles of people i've heard talk about optimal strats. I'm hearing more about it as a meta question.

Now Ana is easier to dive and tanks are easier to kill. So we are back to Dive. Orisa is an extremely powerful anti Dive tank though, so things might change again. Once people find uses from her. Some people are really successfull with her. But Lucio is being reworked into a Dive support. So both supports won't be in the backline anymore to dive on. Which might change everything.

Because Ana is really hard to Dive on, so you would need the whole team to Dive. Which would allow the Tanks, to just run at your own supports. And Tanks win if there are no supports on both sides. Interesting, i've heard the opposite about orisa. I've heard she doesn't have enough consistent damage to counter the heals and you just dive past her. She also is the only tank with below 50% win rates. I dunno orisa doesnt' feel anti-dive to me.

But lets face it, noob Orisas will use their orb on cooldown and get dived between. (They'll also use their shield on cooldown) You also can't dive past Orisa, because she sits right in front of the backline. But D.Va destroys Orisa and D.Va is getting more popular again. I can only say that Orisa is insane on long corridor parts and good vs highground. And that she makes Reins and Winstons cry.

I can see Orisa being useful on Route 66, when opponents take the high ground above the gas station. Her abilities all require smart usage. Noobs will get wrecked using her. Regarding Orisa against dive comps, her orb can break up the dive momentum but will require good timing... really really good timing. You have to be on point with orb to break a dive, because its a 2 part ability. First, throwing out the orb AND activating it will be so hard to time. It can be done, but you have to be on point with her mechanics.

And the Head hitbox change, helps Orisa alot vs D.Va, who landed alot of headshots even on long range x.x. But I am curious how Dive will evolve now with Lucio being hyperdimensonial OP for Dive. Because you need to kill Lucio first, before you can even think of outdamaging his heal on Tracer/Genji. (New Lucio is amazing, totally noob unfriendly though) Since this is party the event thread kinda. Event is super fun xD. And its a hidden Torbjorn training camp. So people will learn to hit with his left click.
