Description : The Void itself bleeds into reality, warping the very fabric of space and time. Battlefield Conditions change at random and never stay stable for long. All bets are off, commanders. Be ready for anything.
Map: Oblivion Express
Mutations:
Chaos Studios Mutators are chosen at random and periodically cycle throughout the mission.
Mutators found so far: Aggressive Deployment,Alien Incubation,Avenger,Barrier,Black Death,Blizzard,Concussive Attacks,Darkness,Diffusion,Eminent Domain,Evasive Maneuvers, Just Die,Lava Burst,Mineral Shield,Missile Command,Orbital Strike,Outbreak,Polarity,Purifier Beam,Scorched Earth,Self Destruction,Slim Pickings, Speed Freaks,Temporal Field,Time Warp,Transmutation,Twister,Void Reanimators,Void Rifts,Walking Infested
I am not a big fan of this mutation.. You are 100% dependent on what mutations you get. I tried it twice so far, first time with Swann+ zagara and everything went smashing until we got transmutations at which point zagaras zerglings triggered a billion hybrids. Second time I was Alarak with vorazun, everything went fine until we got black plague and missile bombardment (the missiles carry black plague as well) so rip everything.
Had no money in the beginning, then suddenly out of nowhere 3 GIGANTIC behemoths appeared (one of them covered 1/3 of the screen) and started going ham on our base like a blademaster on roids.
A ranking wouldn't even make much sense this time around since it's all dependent on just how the RNG screws you over (And there are a lot of ways it can).
A nice blizzard to stop your expand from mining. A nice plague to kill your entire army + nukes everywhere. And that's still lucky compared to constant void rifts which you are hard pressed to deal with except if you got karax with obs or Raynor's Hyperion.
Wishing your fellow player good luck at the start of the game was never this relevant.
What's the best time to play this in order to get high-quality allies? I specifically refer to mutations. I noticed from previous few weeks that Monday morning (US eastern time) is probably among the worst. Evenings are okay, and later part of the weeks seem to be better than the first few days of the week.
I tried a couple games the first thing I woke up today. I kept getting allies that had no idea how to play this. Guess I'll try again tonight.

lol missile plus plague sounds hilarious. beat it with swann + vorazun partner. we got black plagued near the end and he lost like all his DTs but luckily we only had 1 train to go so we were able to barely focus it down with the remnants of our forces and me spamming a bunch of turrets along the track with my scvs after the nuke mutation wore off

There should be fixed "Coop-Channels" for your region on the server. You can ask there for high-level allies who have already beaten it and at least know what to do. However this is no guarantee for winning, I failed with Level90 allies several times when bad combos of mutations hit us. Sometimes its absolutely unbeatable, you have to accept that.

Thanks for the idea. When I played last night I got okay allies. We were able to do it even with speed freak on the train, early mineral blocks and void rifts.
I feel mastery levels doesn't matter much. Nothing can compensate for a lack of APM.
I do wish there is a channel where you can connect with others high level co op commanders. The problem is that there is no way to proof it. Maybe they can quite an elite group where if your ladder is plat and higher, you are consider as someone who knows how to play co-op well. But this also doesn't mean anything. Someone can cheese their way to the league.
All in all, it is random. For me, i get 50/50 of matching with someone that knows how to play and someone who has no idea what to do.
Well, I got good rng with a friend and didn't get extremely nasty like black death. The worst we had was polarity but no awful combinations or really bad single mutators.
Slim pickings into black death on my probes into mineral shields. Holy balls that what a shitty way to just get curb stomped about 1/2 way through the mission lol and be broke as shit to eventually lose haha.
Wheel of Misfortune can be so fun sometimes...although sometimes just a little frustrating... =P
