StarCraft is the best live game because the unique hotkeys are set in stone. Which provides some awesome, one of a kind keyboard gymnastics rather than watching a mindless drone pound away on the same dozen keys.
Hey at that point why don't ya disconnect your keyboard, throw it out the window and plug in a Dpad to play off.
Lol okay, 200 apm multitasking will suddenly be easy because one of the buttons can be reassigned?

more like all oh them can be reassigned... but who cares anyway? first fix those damn dying sound for my zealots!

battlenet keeps dropping me. I suppose it's because my internet connection is bad. I probably lose a lot of packets, but still would like to know if anyone is experiencing the same.
- edit - also more than once the game crashed out of the blue and i was left staring at the desktop. iirc in one of those times a 'report' box popped up and i sent it to blizzard.

I'm not experiencing this issue, connection is normal for me. My ISP is Net 15mb, which is pretty shitty/unstable.

Playing on 4k monitors :/ Nither disabling VSync, unit portraits or bilinear filtering did the trick for me. What finally helped getting rid of the severe mouse lag was using the integrated graphics of my Intel CPU, instead of the dedicated Nvidia graphics card.
In case you have a CPU with integrated graphics you could try that too: Go to your Control Panel and open up the «NVIDIA Control Panel». In it you can set up the preferred graphic processor for programmes installed on your PC.

It's weird because i was expecting more complaints about the wide screen support which gives a wider FOV, rather than keybindings.

lag is killing it for me. Fine for 1v1 but team games are really chugging.

If you're having trouble with 1.18, give ShieldBattery a try. We support using 1.18 installations now, and the experience is generally smoother. Average time to receive an invite is about ~a day now.

So by that logic NBA players should play with a WNBA ball, you know, for the skill ceiling. That's just moronic lol

The hotkeys are NOT set in stone. It has been brought up already in this thread and in others but different languages have different hotkeys, with some setups being easier than others. What should be thrown out the window is your argument lol.

Why do you demand "proof" when you didn't prove anything yourself. You simply state it's "universally easier" whatever you actually mean with that. Yes it is probably easier to learn the hotkeys if you can change them however you want, that's the effect we want to have. You even stated mutliple times that on high lvl it probably wouldn't change anything. So what exactly is the problem besides appealing to tradition?

funny to see that tec27 fixed 1.18 faster than Blizzard :D

One that addresses the statement that he made? Why would I need to provide proof to ask a question? Work on your English before lunging at me, I'm growing tired of you. I didn't "state" anything in that post besides the fact that the aspect ratio change has been discussed at length.

I was told to disable all firewalls and some windows specific stuff like running as administrator but none worked.
