Amon is not above sacrificing his own servants to ensure your demise. His purification beam strafes the streets of Augustgrad as his minions pull your forces into the path of destruction. Keep your distance and be careful where you engage the enemy, lest your armies be incinerated.
Map: Rifts to Korhal
Mutations:
Fatal Attraction When enemy units and structures die, any of your nearby units are pulled to their location.
Purifier Beam An enemy Purifier Beam moves across the map toward nearby player units.
Alien Incubation All enemy units spawn Broodlings upon death.
This mutation actually is quite hard if you get one of the ling/bane compositions - your units will get swamped in pulls, and the banelings really threaten your defensive structures. Next comp I drew was no problem for Stukov.
Also btw, the mutation is called "Moths to the Flame", not "Fatal Attraction".
Kind of a fun mutation, one time we got absolutely destroyed by Amons laser + Being pulled , went from 130+ to 50 supply :D
Best Commander with huge margin is Zagara, propably followed by Stukov (tanks when sieged and bunkers arent being pulled) and Vorazun with mass DT spam. At least dont need to cheese it then :D
Tried with swann first but no luck, closest was when I got a zagara that left so I defended with swann and suicided scourge to kill shard but lost with 20% left on last one shard. Then I switched to nova, I pretty much played solo nova+liberators (since they dont get pulled when sieged) and used the rest of my money on airstrikes and defense drones. Ally was Karax he assisted with pannel and sentry mindcontrol thingy which was pretty helpful.
Did it with Raynor and Karax ally. Though it could work with Raynor + Swann. The idea is for Raynor to build 10-12 orbitals and 20+ barracks, and spam mules while the ally (Karax/Swann) defends all the bases. Then Raynor scans for his ally at the shards and lets his ally clear the way with orbitals or laser nukes, while Raynor helps clear the area up with calldowns. Then, after the areas are relatively clear, Raynor spams Marines + Marauders at the shards and tears them down really quickly.
The idea is for you to rally your barracks on the shards, so your infantry hits nothing but the shards. It's extremely important that you make sure your ally is not attacking anything while your infantry is hitting the shards, so the attraction doesn't mess up your marines. That's really important; your ally can really mess things up if they attack things around your marines, even though they have good intentions. Rally any infantry that landed on the next shards, so they don't attack anything in between.
I ended up doing it with 8k+ minerals still in the bank, so it's very doable without starving for minerals.

Yea I figured out that constant rapidly-produced banes and scourges is a huge advantage for this mutation... glad to know sieged siege tanks will not be pulled too...
