It was very painful to watch must have been even harder to endure in-game.

Yesterday and today he went on a ladder rampage breaking into top10 again. Currently sitting at #9. As far as I followed he had a winning streak of around 12-0 beating Boxer, PianO, Mini, skyhigh, Snow, the mysterious Fantasy handle among others. This was right after he lost 3 spons against Ssak and lost to Larva in a great ranked ladder match. (I'll try to find that VOD it's highly recommended.) In the afreeca chat he mentioned he's afraid of losing all his viewers if he continues to lose so often :D good motivation if you ask me.

It seems like any time I necro this thread he instantly loses his magic, now he's in a 0-3 slump. I might just shut up and let him become nr 1 before talking about it on TL.

I long too for Stork winning -- anything but don't want to lose that esteemed audience of one. So here goes Stork laddering again and me bumping the thread! By the time he started tasting Kozel's yesterday he -200 points compared to his standing earlier that day. Today he gained some back, played a spon with by.hero and currently plays again Movie on ladder.

It's safe to say though that probably Stork has been a major father figure for most Khan tosses. I long too for Stork winning -- anything but don't want to lose that esteemed audience of one. There was quite a bit of fighting when Jangbi quit SC2 as he was beeing treated unfairly by the management, I really hope they made up

After a horrible meltdown on ladder and easy spon losses to hero on the 29th of Aug., Tue Stork wrote, hovering around 2450, throwing matches away left and right like a paperboy in the morning that he doesn't mind the grind he's going to get back to 2700+ again, that is where he belongs. After a few more losses (going 1-8 or 1-10) not showing himself on cam anymore, he joked he might need a new id. I felt uneasy about what might come next. Enter Phoenix: Stork outlasts Rush and convincingly beats MisO, that's two spon wins in a day. Probably a record for Aug. Even better than the wins was the focus and composure that is missing on other days. I was glad to see that it didn't evaporate for the ladder rounds. Masterful early pressures and 2 clutch holds against hydra busts vZ; Carrier rushes and sick mid-game engagements vT (especially in a great win over Leta); and a run of about 12 wins (to 3 losses or so) means Stork is back above 2700 when he starts playing today. It's not all rosy, though. Here's the problem (not in my opinion but in Stork's words): The qualifier will be much harder. If it's hard to stay consistent against semi-pros and amateurs and yo-yos daily between top10 and 100 it will be especially hard coming weekends. The sloppy shuttle plays vP (it cost him a game against Snow) and weak defending vZ doesn't help. In the end, I'm very glad that I couldn't jinx his performance yesterday and hope to see this promising trend continue over the weekend.

FFO: Carrier Not recommended for: Terrans who hate to get wrecked by Carriers Just this week Stork's ladder results followed the pattern of 2-3 losses for each win. However, his tenacity has started to pay dividends. He was firmly in the top20, closing in on the 2800 MMR mark. Most matches were vT and it's a highly recommended watch for those who enjoy the Samsung style of playing Protoss, with oceans of storms and Carrier flanks, and maxed out lategame badassness. As far as I was able to follow notable players he beat included Snow, Mong, Free. He also played spons with Mong winning back-to-back. We can definitely say he ended the week on a high note and I would be pretty dumbfounded if this wouldn't be enough to qualify to the Ro 24 of ASL. But his weakness to early game T or Z pressure might make it hard to get back to the Ro8 where he appeared just 2 seasons ago.
