Hello, Teamliquid.
I went to go watch the Larva's Funniest Moments video that Tiny Land created with subtitles but found that it no longer exists. As the image above shows, Tiny Land closed his YouTube account; as a result, all videos he posted are no longer available. It's really quite a shame because I enjoyed the BW-related videos he made about the ASL, translations, and Korean sentiments.
Sincerely, Shalashaska_123
EDIT:
One of Tiny Land's Last Videos
What I'm about to say may or may not have something to do with why Tiny Land's account was closed. Weeks ago he posted a video in which he explained why he hadn't uploaded much content around that time. He said that he initially made StarCraft content because he wanted to let the foreign community know what was happening in the Korean community with translations and commentary. Each of his videos easily took 10+ hours to create, edit, and post to YouTube. On his YouTube channel he also posted videos about another game (I can't remember which one it was) that he was also passionate about. Videos of this game on average reached a couple hundred views compared to videos on StarCraft, which had thousands of views on average. As he became more popular, his subscribers demanded that he release more content related to StarCraft and threatened to unsubscribe if he made videos on other things. He was under a lot of pressure and said what began as a hobby felt more and more like a job. The amount of money he was making on YouTube, though, wasn't enough to make a living on at all.
Unfortunately, there's no proof of this video anymore since his account was closed---all I have is my word. If anyone else happened to see the video I'm talking about, then please confirm the story in the comments below.

Yeah he had some high quality videos. But it is the vocal minority of whiners and complainers that make users like him ragequit and delete all their content. There are too many snowflakes and social justice warriors on the internet.
I always appreciate hearing the other side of the argument. That is what Tinyland was good about. But people just belittled him for his many videos if they didn't agree with something like Tesagi. (Even if they've seen how OP a Terran deathball is).

Are we sure this isn't a copyright issue?

It Would be great if he produced translated content for TL

My money is on Afreeca. Vods from it must be the reason he got strike. That's retarded when they close channels like they're thieves. Guy translated, made ton of edits not just reuploaded same shit.

there is no tesagi, why do you listen to korean keyboard warriors?

thats a shame, really liked his videos

Really a shame! Tiny Land's content was excellent. I wish there were more like it.
If Afreeca is behind the closing, I have to say it's a counterproductive step. Tiny Land's videos were a supplement to the tournament VODs, not a substitute, and the translations of the Korean commentators made the event that much more enjoyable.

I think the problem comes from monetizing the videos. The site runs algorithms or w/e to detect copyrighted material, seeing if there are any matches and if yes, then it dishes out a punishment of some sort. Or it'd have to be reported by a douchey person.

I've seen the video you mention. But he deleted that video once he started to release starcraft content again. Also right before his channel was closed he had just uploaded a Megaman 2 playthough for the holiday and his channel was closed nearly right after uploading it.

I wish we had the VIDEOS to show what I'm talking about, but we don't

He did make a video specifically addressing that part of the story you provided but he had continued to post and live stream subjects regarding starcraft so I don't really believe that is the reason why his channel was shut down.
Personally don't think that is why it got shut down but I also wouldn't take it out of the equation.
I feel like he's the type of guy who would make a goodbye video.

Such a shame. I really enjoyed his Starcraft videos. He really helped me get into the grove of the Brood war scene. The Tesagi vidoe he did was really funny and I loved it.
Sucks his youtube channel is not around anymore.

That sucks. I loved his videos that were quick compilations of an important ASL series. It was great to understand the Korean casting style a bit more and you'd get the entire interview part as well. On the english stream, it's often hard to understand the translations. It changed ASL3 from being an awesome tournament into Flash's personal vendetta story for me.
If this is really Afreeca taking his channel down then I'm quiet dissappointed in them. I mean they are still the only company willing to continue the legacy of preperation style tournaments spread over weeks and they are willing to continue in spite of Blizzards BS, but taking down a fan who is promoting your content is about as stupid as Blizzard cancelling ATB.

In the BW General thread, GTR said it was a dmca takedown. That's the only information I've seen about it. I'm disappointed too that his channel is gone and would be curious to hear from him what happened.

Truly a shame, he made really great videos.
