However, while at that time he seemed shaky, ever since being back from the qualifiers he seems to be more self-confident so I hope he won't have a problem this time beating out Guemchi and Horang2. Edit: Oh, Guemchi was in that group actually in ASL3. Time for revenge, Commander!!!

I can imagine more than two players finishing in advancing position in groups A, B, D, E, F. Group C is the only one where I would wager without hesitation that Best and Mind will go through. (Although I guess Rush will try to take revenge for that hour long Fighting Spirit decider they played with Mind last season.)

Stork will make it with power of love like what happened in Busan :-) I just watched this yesterday, it was very heartwarming to see. Obviously that should help a lot. I don't want to derail the thread though so here's something else: How's Movie's form? I didn't see his qualifying run but if he's in a not-bad form the group might be hard for JD.

They'll have to play the game of their life to win, and you can't pull off miracle wins but 1% of the time. This is interesting to check out: Shine v Light -- I think if someone Shine can figure out a strat that beats Terran. And Light's TvZ is not the one we got to know in the pro days. Even with the map imbalance I'd give Shine 33%. Effort v Horang2 -- This is hard. Effort has been losing on Sparkle left-right as far as I can see it, especially against P. Still, Effort is Effort and he thrives in chaos, so I would give him at least 15%. Calm v Best -- Probably this is the 1% match, even though Best's vZ is not as strong just pure skill difference and the amount they've been playing makes me think this is almost impossible for Calm. Soulkey v Mini -- Mini has been great! With that said on the big stage he never performed like on stream where as SK is quite the opposite. I don't know what percentage I'd give but definitely above 5. Jaedong v Movie -- I think Jaedong has at least 33% here as well. His perseverance always helped him out in impossible situations and I haven't seen Movie play for at least half a year. He might suck, regardless of what the map is. So while I agree with your general sentiment, I think giving literally 1% without exaggeration is a tad bit too much.

I had the extreme luck to be there when the SSL9 finals happened and it was something I'll never forget. If you can, I definitely recommend you go to as many matches as possible! Have fun.
