He'll be 16. Yeah, he'll be able to play in Valencia and Montreal. And looks like fourth time's the charm for DnS.
Nice!
Also, looking at the seed distribution for WCS as a whole, while I really can't fault them population wise, and even skill-wise until recently, I'd say next year they should re-think the 4 seeds from NA, and only 2 from Latin America. Slowly but surely Latin America is catching up and even surpassing the NA scene. Special, Kelazur, and Cham vs Neeb, Scarlett, and NoRegret would be pretty close. Then again, it's also really cool that Copa America is connected to WCS, that's pretty legit.

Really? I feel like Europe gets completely shafted. Skill-wise NA doesn't deserve as many seeds as EU, and SEA and Taiwan certainly don't deserve two seeds a piece.
edit Oh and unsurprisingly avilo got a match loss for ignoring his warning about chatting.

NA has probably won a near equivalent or potentially even greater number of WCS events than EU. The EU has a greater overall skill level, but the NA has equivalent top skill level.

What's with the massive break between WCS events this year?
|
It's because they had Leipzig so early. First event last year was Austin in April. The gap was shifted from the beginning to the middle of the year.

When do they announce RO16 groups for NA and Europe? Isn’t that only a couple of days away?

Sweet! Thanks for the link!
Pity Scarlett ended up in a group with two of her countrymen, but she should be able to make it to the playoffs pretty easy there. Same with Neeb.
Group D looks like the toughest group for both EU and NA.

Huh, would've thought that on EU all the groups would be 1 invited + 1 GM + 2 Open qualifier.
