is there anyone in the fucking community with even an ounce of respect for smuft anyway? he's the biggest prick around. everyone knows dudey sucks. dudey can't fight his way out of a fucking paper bag. if anyone remembers in the comp usa ladder when kevin had some pro play for him, dudey stuck up for him saying it was smart thing to do to ensure a win and he'd do the saem thing =( give me a fuckin break. naz, i'd be ashamed to be associated with this bullshit if i were you, and i'd be even more ashamed if i knew what was going on and didn't tell anyone -_- a lot of people put up money to play in this and now everyone who had a chance at winning is getting fucked out of their money. i knew this whole thing was a joke when it became apparent smuft was the only one making decisions and running the show. i have no respect for the dream team =(

Nazgul-I respect you more now to, telling Venice what was going on was the right thing to do because you obviously told the right person because he did the right thing. You all are focusing on the wrong part of this. Don't you take into consideration about Onurb and Eki of WGtour.com? They let them host this scam on their server, without WGTour's hosting this plan never would have come thru. So there are 4 culporates, and not one of those 4 is Nazgul or Venice. So it's obvious that those 4 are Elky, smuft, Onurb, and Eki. I'm not at all surprised that Elky was the creator of this plan seeing as how he has handled himself in KBK Jeju, but abusing is totally different than taking $20 from some people who are from countries where $20 maybe a month of full time work.

And we can't sue WDTour. It promised a ladder for $20.

Also the "taking $20 from some people who are from countries where $20 maybe a month of full time work" is pretty much exaggerated, if they can afford to buy a comp, I think they can pay up 20$ -_-

I don't blame anyone at this, but I feel that WDT fooled us. It's pretty clear now that this was a scam. What we should do other than complain and add more theories is we should find a way to fix this problem. We shouldn't find someone to blame, we should find a way to make this better.

I can't see any legal action being taken over this though.

If that prize is refused, even if you yourself are not the winner, you can sue for fraud and ask any reasonable amount per hour for time loss ("I would have been working overtime if not for it..."). But I can't see anyone suing over it...a punch in the face, maybe

Id like to clear some misconceptions you all have about the Korean experience. The players there and the people on this forum seem to glamorize it without knowing anything about it. It is definately not something you should dedicate your lives to. Several of you want to go to Korea and win lots of money but in reality you cannot. Face the truth. You have been playing for 4 years straight and you are still not a top player. Going to korea will not change anything. You will not storm onto the scene and win tournament after tournament. You will not win any tournaments nor will you place high in any ladder. All but a handful of pro gamers make less than a full time mcdonalds employee. You will definately not make any money from this experience. If winning tournaments and money is not your motivation and adventure is then fine. You can save yourself the bullshit and finance your own trip to Korea. Looking at the ladder i saw several people with hundreds of games. You could earn a couple thousand and go it on your own. It is not hard. After several months of being in Korea i personally felt sick. I couldnt get over the fact that my life was meaningless there. I was not doing anything worthwhile except playing games. Do you all want to be 30 year old pro gamers? No one spoke english. All there is to do in Korea is to play games and go to night clubs to try to screw korean sluts. Is that worth your time? Korea is a very dirty place. It is a third world country. Granted it has its nice parts but for the most part it is very poor and dirty. Almost everyone of you here are from very rich countries, Holland, USA, Canada, etc. Why would you want to move? There is a life outside of your bedroom, trust me you dont have to go to korea to find it. In short none of you are going to do what grrr did. NONE of you. Do not try. If it is a scam you lost your 20 dollars and your hours of gaming, get over it, its gone.
