Let the right one in Let the old dreams die Let the wrong ones go They cannot They cannot They cannot do what you want them to do (Let the right one slip in - Morrissey)
Hey TL.net. Well I may remind you of my old blog post where I sort of told you all about some relationship problem I had with a girl. I told her I liked her but it didn't work out because of other things.
Well a few weeks ago I was at this conference (church youth conference sort of thing) and I met this great girl shall we say Miss E. So me and Miss E got on very well together and we spent quite a bit of time walking around the university together, either inside getting lost together or out in the campus which was quite rural and had a lot of nice places you could go for a walk. (conference held at uni)
So yeah I was there for 4 days and got to know her pretty well and she said some incredibly sweet things to me and some people hinted as us going together and it was like yeah this would be pretty good.
At that point though I was kinda uneasy about it because I was still trying to get over this other girl and there was a few things that I was kinda using as an excuse for not pursuing Miss E.
Anyway the conference ended, we parted ways and I wasn't really planning to do anything more about it. Yet through the miracle of facebook over the last few days we chatted and to be honest the last few weeks I've really dealt with this issue I had with the other girl and moved on and you know what for the first time I decided to just sort of go for it with Miss E.
It's pretty obvious I like her and I'm 90 percent sure she likes me. After we had a particularly heartwarming conversation on FB I decided to just ask her to meet for coffee and so we exchanged phone numbers and we'll be meeting in the city (Where i go to uni starting next week anyway and where she lives).
I intend to push the envelope as it were and see if we can get a relationship started here. So I'm feeling rather optimistic for once and excited about this. Even if nothing happens or it doesn't lead to a relationship, I think that I'll still be pleased that I've taken the risk and tried.
So my council to all those who have recently made blogs about going through problems with girls or breaking up with a girlfriend is this, take morrissey's word for it. Let the right one in and let the old dreams die.
Good luck to you sir :D Let's hope this Miss E is as sweet in a relationship as she is as a friend.

lol Manifesto preemptive "don't listen to TL advice about girls."
Just to note, I'm actually a big fan of Let the right one in book and movie(swedish one) and the writer of the book actually got the title for the book from Morrissey's song that I quoted since he's a huge morrissey/smiths fan.
Do people usually pursue relationships before any sort of psychical activity takes place? That seems rather weird to me. I don't think I've ever asked a girl to be my girlfriend without at the very least kissing her first.
90% chance she likes you back? Imagine if Jaedong had a 90% ZvT! That some serious statistical pull you got! Glad to hear things are working out for you and if she knows whats right, she won't let you go. Best of luck (:
lolfacebook. sounds like you believe in people too much from what i hear. every relationship you'll be in you'll feel like the greatest person in the world, or a victom.
Just let people go and develope yourself as an individual, and you wont have to make lovey-dovey blogs like this.
unless irrational emotions give you thrills, that is. which seems to be the case
