There's nothing we can really do, we ask an ad network such as Google to show an ad, we have no control over what ad they choose to show to each user. If you're able, it's best to report such things to Google if you can figure out where it's coming from.

Disable your extensions one by one and eventually you find the culprit. I adblock most websites other than those I frequent very often (tl, youtube, twitch) and while not always getting redirected, its most obvious on the Liquid family of websites when an extension goes rogue. If only because its the website with the most ads that aren't video in nature I visit.

Since the ad is new it will definitely feel intrusive to start with since you aren't used to it being there, so we'd like to give it some time. Have you gave it enough time? I still feel that it is pretty intrusive. It annoys me and lessens my joy of posting on this site (which, in my case, might increase the overall posting quality, but that's not the point). All the feedback I have read in the forums has been rather negative. I dont use adblock on TL and wont use it in the future, so it would be great if you could say what the status quo is right now.

This is why ads work, by the way -- our eyes are drawn to a well-crafted one, and they're especially drawn to something that's animated or flashing. I'd rather not have to deal with any of that while I'm trying to be constructive.
