Passwords are case sensitive and may contain leading / trailing spaces. This is no different than the previous login system. I thought I was running into those problems but maybe I'm just imagining it. I'll double check. okay so on testing capitalization of username doesn't affect it but If I put a space before my password it doesn't work. not sure if that's the same as last system or not also im sad google no longer autofills in my username.

Like for example someone makes a thread on TL, posts it on facebook, and their friends click the link and comment in the thread. Can you track how they got there?

I don't like it when sites try to push social media involvement. For example, when at the bottom of blog article on a blog website there are garish buttons asking you to like, subscribe, follows, share, tweet, and the like. You can argue that the site is simply providing options to easily login. But the size of everything is startling. And I can't help but think it's designed to promote some cross-platform social media integration nonsense.
