Which you can't do though if you want to watch anything on twitch outside Safari (which is the only desktop browser where twitch's HTML5 works atm). I used to have a very similar problem, it was solved by - disabling Flash (I only manually enable it for Twitch now, nothing else that I use needs it) - disabling autoplay for HTML5 video - some ads are apparently now HTML5 and they for some reason also slow down my PC a lot. In firefox which I use this can be done in about:config.

Because unless I disable flash through chrome://plugins, I keep experiencing frequent freezes whenever I do anything on TL that refreshes the page. [12/10/2015 10:53:49 AM] Michael "Seeker" Suh: We're discussing it in here right now: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/website-feedback/499690-tl-is-constantly-freezing [12/10/2015 10:56:26 AM] Richard "R1CH" Stanway: yes its a known issue, just disable flash or adblock [12/10/2015 10:59:07 AM] Michael "Seeker" Suh: You want me to use adblock for TL? But I thought disabling adblock was how we support TL since it enables TL to run ads. [12/10/2015 11:00:59 AM] Richard "R1CH" Stanway: well if its crashing your browser then i see no reason why not to [12/10/2015 11:01:36 AM] Michael "Seeker" Suh: Alright, thx R1CH. [12/10/2015 11:01:46 AM] Michael "Seeker" Suh: Any idea if this is an issue we can fix? [12/10/2015 11:17:47 AM] Richard "R1CH" Stanway: ive brought it up with our ad guy, hopefully he will look into it

I don't understand why TL can't have static ads only. There aren't any non-shady ad providers that you could use?

I keep forgetting to re-enable flashblock after watching a stream and nearly every time an ad will come along after a while and give Firefox an Unresponsive Script dialogue box which completely halts browsing until I can suppress it long enough to turn on flashblock again. Sorry guys but uBlock is going to be left on for TL for a good while.
