Be sure to check your account details as people have been disqualified from previous TL Open events due to incorrect information. Please make sure your battle.net name and code are correct by editing your profile. Remember, this tournament is played on the EU server. Only host games on maps tagged "TSL4" authored by "TSLAdmin" on the EU Server, and "Plexa" on the NA Server. Blocking messages from non-Friends list: Please turn off this feature, otherwise your opponents and referees cannot message you. If this happens and you don't turn it off, we may DQ you. Note: In game observers:No observers outside of designated TL casters. Their IDs will be listed in the rules here. If your opponent tries to have observers, you must stop the game and contact a referee. This means you can leave if he invites his friends or just starts the game. It is your responsibility not to allow it. Format- 512 Man Single Elimination
- Tournament check-in will open on June 14, 2012 0400 EDT[local].
- Tournament will begin on the Battle.net EU Server on June 12, 2014 0500 EDT.
- Bracket will be displayed on TeamLiquid. Participants must log in to view opponent IDs and Codes to contact their opponents for matches.
- Players must contact each other through Bnet chat and arrange a host (unless Ro16 or later).
- Winners will report results and upload replays after each round.
- If a game's results are disputed (both players report win), Tournament Referees will check replays and determine who advances.
- Best-of-1 until Round of 32.
- Best-of-3 Round of 32 and on
- Best-of-5 Finals
TL Open Rules- Any violation of TL Open Tournament Rules may result in game forfeit and future suspension from TL Opens and other TL events.
- No cheating in any way. This includes any sort of hack or illegal program and receiving messages from friends watching the stream. This also includes account sharing or playing under an ID that you did not register under.
- Players must set status to busy during tournament matches.
- Players may not have any stream open in the background when playing.
- Players must arrive within 10 minutes of the end of the previous round. After 10 minutes, every 10 minutes is a game loss for the player who is not present. Ex: with one player present for 20 minutes, 1-0, 30 minutes, 2-0.
- If your opponent is not present for 20 minutes, please PM TLTourAdmin.
- Players may change race between games.
- Players may not play in another tournament that conflicts with TL Open play time. Referees may disqualify players that delay the TL Open due to scheduling conflicts.
- Referees may warn and disqualify players for chat violations, including excessive or abusive insults toward players, observers, or referees.
Maps and Host Rules- Games will be hosted on one of the approved maps.
- In a Bo1, host must create on designated map for that round.
- In a Bo3, first game will be played on designated map, loser picks the next map from the pool.
- Maps cannot be played twice in a series.
- It is the player's responsibility to check the map pool. If a player protests an incorrect map after playing a game on it, the game will not be replayed.
- Map Pool: TSL4 Metropolis LE, TSL4 Daybreak, TSL4 Antiga Shipyard, TSL4 Entomed Valley, TSL4 ESV Ohana, TSL4 ESV Cloud Kingdom, TSL4 ESV Korhal Compound (Note: The map name does not have TE in the title, however it is the TE edition of Korhal).
Disconnects and Lag- If your opponent is disconnecting, players should take a screenshot of the lag screen and contact the tournament referee.
- If a disconnect happens in the first five minutes and there has been no player-opponent contact, game will be replayed.
- In a Bo1, if a disconnect happens after player-opponent contact, disconnecting player may receive a loss. The Referee will make the final decision after reviewing the screenshot and replay.
- In a Bo3, if a disconnect happens after player-contact, player must contact Referee immediately and Referee will decide how to proceed after reviewing the evidence.
- Referees and Tournament Administrators reserve the right to overturn results or award wins based on evidence they see.
- In a disconnecting situation, both players can agree to a regame.
- If there is persistent unplayable lag (lag screen comes up more than once in a short time), players must contact a Referee who will decide how to proceed.
Coverage and Observer Rules- TL will officially cast both semifinals and the finals.
- No observers are allowed in games other than those designated by TL.
- TL will designate "approved" observers who will be allowed to observe and broadcast games.
- TL Designated Caster List: Ascend
- TL referees are also allowed to be in game.
- There will only be a maximum of one observer in each match.
- If the host invites a non-approved observer to the game and starts, game does not count.
- If game lags with an approved observer in game, that observer must leave at the request of a player. If a TL referee is in game, he will make this decision.
- Observers and broadcasters are subject to the same rules for cheating and abuse as players. TL may suspend observers from future TL events if violations occur.
Character Code확인: 스타2 계정의 ID를 변경했을 경우 character code숫자도 바뀌었을 수도 있습니다. 등록시 반드시 정확한 character code를 입력 했는지 확인해주시길 바랍니다. 친구 목록 밖의 유저로 부터 메세지를 받을 수 있도록 설정: 대회 진행을 위해서 심판 그리고 상대 선수로부터 연락을 받아야 합니다. 연락이 불가능할 경우에는 실격 처리될 수 있습니다. 경기 관람자 (옵저버): 경기 관람은 심판만 가능합니다. 대회 방식- 512명 Single Elimination.

- 대진표 및 다음 상대 정보는 체크인 마감 이후 현재 대회 정보 페이지에 공개합니다.
- 상대 선수를 배틀넷으로 연락하고 스스로 경기를 진행합니다.
- 승자는 현재 대회 정보 페이지를 통해 승리 신고, 리플레이 업로드 해야합니다.
TL Open 규칙- 규칙 위반시 몰수패 처리, 차기 TeamLiquid 대회나 이벤트 참가 자격 박탈 등 징계가 있을 수 있습니다.
- 부정 행위를 일제히 금지합니다. 해킹, 대리 게임, 계정 공유 등 모두 해당됩니다.
- 반드시 참가 등록을 한 ID로 경기를 치루어여 합니다.

- 채팅을 통해 욕설 및 비매너 행위를 저지르는 선수는 대회 실격 처리될 수 있습니다.
- 경기 사이에 종족 변환 가능합니다.

- 공식맵 확인은 선수의 책임입니다. 잘못된 맵으로 경기를 완료하는 경우에는 재경기를 하지 않습니다.
렉 및 디스커넥트- 상대가 디스커넥트할 경우에는 경기 화면 스크린샷을 찍고 심판을 연락합니다.
- 디스커넥트 이후 두 선수가 합의를 할 경우에는 재경기를 합니다.
- 디스커넥트가 경기시작 3분내로 일어나고, 서로 정찰이 안되었을 경우에는 재경기를 합니다.
- 서로 정찰이 된 이후에 디스커넥트가 있을 경우에는 심판의 판정에 따릅니다.
- 심판 및 대회 운영진은 충분한 증거가 있을 경우에는 경기 결과를 번복 시키거나 한 선수에게 부전승을 줄 수 있습니다.
- 경기를 할 수 없을 정도의 렉이 지속되면 심판을 연락하고, 심판의 판정에 따릅니다.
경기 중계 및 관람자- TeamLiquid에서는 리플레이를 통해 4강전, 결승전을 방송 중계합니다.
- 리플레이는 차후에 공개합니다.
- TeamLiquid가 지정하는 관람자만 경기 관람 가능합니다.
