Description: Hi there! KILLorD Master League Zerg Laddering on NA server
gamer couple (cassie & raj):
hi a little about us: we work in the music industry, and are hardcore gamers. We love RTS games. Have over 16 years of RTS experience, which began with Warcraft 1-2, and kicked off with Starcraft 1 on battle.net
we are also musicians and artists. *Raj has played guitar for 8 years, bass for 16+ years, and piano for 10 years. *Cassie has played bass guitar, tambourine, and the synthesizer for over 6 years.
together they have been on national tour twice, and still perform to this day. we have performed with popular underground artists, and opened for national acts as well. we know many musicians personally - many of whom play warped tour on a yearly basis .
we love going to shows, and talking about bands, so please feel free to talk to us about anything music!
Cassie is also an expert makeup artist (who specializes in eye makeup).
*we commentate from time to time **PS: I (Cassie) may get nervous from time to time if i have more than just my personal friends watching me play - so if i switch to unranked ladder - that is the main reason
*We will NOT use a webcam. Having worked in the music industry for the past 7 years, one common topic that comes up is the concept of image. it has tainted our industry on many levels - one being that it has taken away from the art itself, and put more emphasis/focus on the image of the artist. it has suddenly become who is singing/what the artist looks like rather than the artwork at hand. (which is why we respect bands like Tool, and Hawthorne Heights). (we'd love to go into more detail, please talk to us, we can talk about almost everything behind the scenes when it comes to music ; although some things we are legally not allowed to discuss, obviously <3, but questions about merch/artists are always welcome!)
anyways - the same thing has been affecting the ever-growing and ever-changing industry of gaming. with webcams all over, it has suddenly put a huge emphasis on what the gamer looks like (the artist); and less on the gameplay (the art). it's a parallel we think could damage gaming in similar ways it has damaged music. We also performed in a touring band (have been on national tour twice...trust us, also working in the music scene, we can tell you things that image does to damage the dying industry, some of which you may not even be aware of); we are extra sensetive to the topic. and we love talking about the concept of image often; it has inspired Raj specifically to study psychology, which he is hoping to recieve a masters degree for in the near future! so feel free to discuss on our channel we hope you do enjoy the gameplay - as sharing content is our main goal for you as an audience.
what you can expect to see: *Low masters league solo @ Starcraft 2 *Top ranked world-class 2v2 Random Team Master league (maybe less of this when HotS goes live as we have found that the new expansion actually requires updated maps for it to not be "unplayably" broken, with the introduction of new/updated units.) *Guild Wars 2 (Thief & Mesmer gameplay) * Diablo 3 (Demon Hunter) *Monkey Island Series *Mass Effect 3 *Warcraft 3: 2v2 RT ladder (Night Elf) *World of Warcraft (Restoration Druid) *Pokemon Black & White 2 *The Legend of Zelda (anything we feel like streaming, but our favorite is Ocarina of Time)
what you can expect to hear:
*we play mostly underground music that you may not have listened to before. (our music is better suited to as we call them in the music scene "the advanced listener"). so if you're into more simple/mainstream stuff, maybe you're better off playing your own playlist to our content; however if you would like to discover new music/are an open minded music fan that LOVES everything about music, please listen. *many of the artists we play we are trying to help out and promoting by playing them on our stream - we have worked with MANY of the bands we play here, so your support in listening/spreading the word is also a huge help to our music scene, and our friends.
*Screamo, Metal, Punk, Pop-Punk, trance/techno/electronica, Emo, Blues and Classic Rock.
we sincerely hope you enjoy the stream, and hopefully inspirational in more ways than one. we aer proud to have you as an audience.
