Description: Hello everyone, and welcome to my stream thread. My name is JoshFreeman (real name is Doug). I am a somewhat competitive player (at least in spirit) in StarCraft II. My battle.net ID is JoshFreeman#857. I am currently a top 25 master league Terran player.
I played Zerg in Brood War, and I began playing StarCraft when it was first released. I played mostly money maps like Big Game Hunters with friends in BW...no skill. I switched to Terran at the start of Season 2 in SC2...I like banshees...a lot. In real life I am a doctoral student at UWF studying Curriculum & Instruction: Sciences and Social Sciences. I earned my Masters of Science in Human Performance: Biomechanics from UF, and my Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology: Kinesiology from UF as well. I am a full-time student, and a part-time StarCraft II player! ^^
I will be streaming my ladder games, as well as some team games with friends. When I do not have class at night I like to play in tournaments on z33k and playhem, so I will stream those as well. I play roughly 50 ladder games per week, and I have been at that pace since this past spring. Before that I had a bit of ladder anxiety, but that is gone now. I competed at MLG Providence 2011, competed in the open pool of MLG Columbus 2012, and competed in the open pool of MLG Dallas 2012. I have a serious desire to improve at this game, and will stream often.
Play-style:
TvT: Airmech
TvZ: Biomech
TvP: SKY TERRAN
I possess very solid general game knowledge. I stream with a microphone, a 720p HD webcam, music, resolution at 720p, and with a dual monitor setup so I can interact with my chat during games. My play-style is macro-oriented, and I rarely cheese unless I’m tilting (which doesn’t happen often). I use a das Professional Model S keyboard, a Logitech G9x mouse, a steelseries QcK heavy mouse pad, and steelseries Siberia headphones.
