Hmm, in recent history? Probably 3 weeks and a half, about 2 years years ago, when I was roadtripping.

For me, probably about a couple months. Something keeps drawing me back to this place. Can't pinpoint exactly what it is.

a few months i went to play dota
|
One week this summer, when I went on a road trip. The trip was three weeks, but i managed to occasionally browse TL.

Since I had been a member for about 6 months or so, I've had no extended breaks. A few days in a row when I was away for a few days, perhaps (but not on my cruises... I checked tl from the sea lol).
|
been a member since 2002, and longest break was probably ~3 month when I totally stopped with BW, stopped checking sites and everything etc.

I don't think I've peaked yet so is hard to say. No breaks I guess.
|
Ever since i registered (4-5 months ago) 1-2 days at max.
|
I'm going to guess around 4 months. I don't know for sure but it's somewhere between 3-6 months.

Hi disciple. Sorry to see you go. I admire you a lot for your gfx skills, and thank you for getting me into gfx in the first place.
|
i came back after an 8 month break for school
|
|
|
I generally only go on tl when I'm at work or something so monday - fridays I'm usually here. Weekends or holidays I am never at home so I can't really come on. However since I've gotten my iphone I do tend to come on tl.net whenever i'm stopped at a red light or at school and am really bored.
|
Been about 8 months so far.
I occasionally check up here when I get bored. >_>

a few months while i was playing wow
I couldn't exactly say how much because thinking back, it was like a long fuzzy dream

Why? Do you realize that during a red light that traffic is not moving? I just read it during the light and then turn it off when its green again.

Probably like two months. I've never taken a break from visiting/reading, but definitely posting. I try to come at least once a day but It doesn't always work out like that.

Nooooooo, I need more wallpapers

I would do that with my iTouch, but I need to pick up a wireless signal to use the internet first =/

Actually the 90 day ban hasn't been in effect for that long iirc. I think the first person who got a 90 day ban is still serving their sentence.

I just read it during the light and then turn it off when its green again. First of all, most breaks really quick... like too quick for you to navigate to a thread and read several replies. And let's say it's a case where you just miss a long light... then you still are likely to get distracted by what you are reading and miss the green and get honked (as someone else said).
So the two problems as I see it are:
1) You aren't paying attention to the light 2) You can't adequately concentrate on tl so it doesn't make it worth it
If you don't give a shit about 2 then I guess that's up to you, but 1 is what worried me.

I hate people who fuck around with their phones while driving

about 1.5-2 years when I was too busy with poker.
This was like, 5 years ago

I've been here for about a year and a half, and the longest break has probably been less than a week so far.

Maybe you are just very good at that particular skill and rarely miss the light turning green. I would hate to read under those circumstances though.
edit: and yeah most of the people screwing around with their phones in front of me mess up.

Since I registered my account I don't think there has been a day I didn't visit TL except for while out of town. Before registering my account probably like 2 years.
|
I managed over 2 years and 5 months without posting from May 2004 to October 2007.
But I'd say about 2 years... I was playing Counterstrike.
|
a few week break after a dumb mafia game once. that really made me lose enthusiasm in tl.
|
4 hours. the amount of sleep I have.
|
i made my first account on TL in late 03-early 04 and got banned and stopped coming until i made my 2nd account in 2005, so like 1-1.5 years
