Dell will break down after a year (says a guy using a dell right now). This thing still works (good thing I bought a warranty), but if I had to do it again I would go with an acer.

it's like putting legos together... just read the manual and guides (the hackintosh thread in general is pretty good).

Not going to be able to fit an i5 and a 5770 into $1000 if you want a decent monitor though...

Not going to be able to fit an i5 and a 5770 into $1000 if you want a decent monitor though... I highly recommend AGAINST these sites. I built my computer myself from Newegg parts about 3 years ago, done a few upgrades here and there, and it has never broken for me. Built a 2000$ PC for my brother about a year ago and it still runs like a dream. My friend has spent more than 5k on 3 computers from ibuypower and cyberpowerpc because something always fries out (there is probably some kind of a warranty on it but he's loaded and decides never to deal with that) Irregardless, they make cheap(referring to quality, not price) computers that are way too overpriced. There is no reason to not build your own computer. I had no kind of knowledge in hardware and i've built 3 PCs that turned out fine. Just don't wimp out on the case and heatsink. But referring to the OP, you might as well wait at least until the beta comes out if this computer is solely made for SC2. Computer technology moves VERY fast and the difference of 3 months could be easily well over 300$ on a 1k PC
