So do we just call him Zero because we were confused early on, and now we're too used to it to fix the mistake?

I mean, it makes sense too to assume that zero is the clan in Mensol[Zero] so thats why there was confusion, idk maybe I'm just being a retard. edit: google leads me to believe that MenSol is indeed the clan as I found lots of players with that as their clan tag, but maybe they're fans?

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=48300 Mensol is listed as one of the clans, seems reasonable enough to me since there doesn't seem to be any mention of a clan Zero.

And that seemed to be the assumption made by people in LR threads as well in his earlier games so I'm not sure exactly when he started being called Zero. edit: if you need evidence, do a ygosu or yaoyuan replay search for "mensol" and take a look at the different names that come up. Mensol[Zero], Mensol[Zerg], Mensol[Ryu], etc. This isn't the first time there's been id/clan confusion. I remember TT just called himself Ever) after a while because of all the mix-ups.

Like player introductions? Both OGN and MBC always show his ID as Mensol[ZerO]. On their websites, they have him listed as Mensol[ZerO] as well.

Ah okay, I guess even OGN and MBC make errors too haha They used to fuck up progamer's IDs ALL THE TIME on every single game channel a long time ago. They still make a few errors here and there, but it's much more infrequent (but still occurs, as is evident by calling him MenSol and not ZerO). I think most of it has to do with the fact that no one cares about the progamer's IDs in Korea, they are all known by their real names, not by their IDs.

I had a chat with a friend from Korea about progamers and he didn't know who free[gm] was. Only knew him by 윤용태.

I only know the korean names of the big players, I only know the other ones by their gamer tags.

I don't think anyone would believe Mensol is a korean name.
