Or besides how he changed the way people play TvZ by moving out with MM before mutas popped to delay turret timings into a extremely tank heavy late game, starting in round 1 of Proleague...

i think u got things mixed around, 6 dragons came to be after double armory build waned in effectiveness.
as for the OP: though it is perhaps inevitable that flash sinks back closer to the norm in terms of win percentage, i hope it's because of an overall rise in the skill level of the players than a reduction of flash's playing ability. i'm excited to see what kinda techniques other players will come up with to overcome flash.
if they can't and flash truly does have the game beat... then perhaps the time has come for bw to fade into obscurity. but i don't think that's the case just yet

Take a moment to think about that. To add to this...
a team sport is much different than an individual game.

Your OP made me think about my perception of bw and it really popped in my mind that I simply don't get the feeling of tension and excitement when watching exactly because I compare everything to Flash's way of playing. The only mu that I can really enjoy now is PvZ. Nevertheless, I am incredibly excited about the upcoming finals, especially because of the possibility of Flash vs JD.

Flash is obviously chobo. He can't even beat Nal Ra lol.
+ Show Spoiler +I was cheering for Flash at the beginning of the series last night, but that was one of the most one sided rapes I've ever seen. It was actually depressing looking at Free as firebats sauntered over to his probes

yeah I was about to say... but its beautiful how the game keeps getting deeper
i fear eventually its gonna end up to the point where no one builds a damn thing but workers because everything else has been "solved" lol
i'm watching flash v free right now and i'm loving it as much as i used to. i like this a lot, it makes it much easier to keep up with the good games
just watch anything with flash and you're going to see someone lose in a horrifying way

please dont act like you know shit. nothing short of mind blowing. rofl gtfo. there are tennis players who have 40+ win streaks, hell look at lance armstrong, going up against hundreds of people and still coming out on top consistently. someone has only broken SC when he goes undefeated. which will not happen. you people can call flash your bonjwa or w/e it means because yes he is doing better than savior but dont pretend hes some form of god. hell he gets beat by jaedong half the time. and when it mattered most he lost 3-1 to him. so shut the fuck up about it already. and as im reading this i see a little post called "how is flash doing so well" oh thats just great. "you do realize that he competes with the best of the best..." yeah and im pretty sure the every other professional athletes do the same for whatever sport they are in. dur dur dur dur.

Fact is there is a luck factor which is more important in starcraft than in tennis, even I could win against flash with a lucky 4 pool against a 14 cc ( my winrate would be 0.001%), but I would never defeat a pro tennis player, not even once out one million games. Thats why a 80% winrate in starcraft is so impressive. By the way, even if I'm impressed by flash, I'm always rooting for his opponent and it's always a disappointment.

I don't understand your comparison with others sports it is completly different. Having a 50+% win ratio at pro level is really good. Flash's 72.09% is godly.

Uh how can you compare tennis, or any other sport, with Starcraft. For one Starcraft has something called fog of war.
I'm pretty sure if Flash played a standard macro game with fog of war off, he'd have around a 100% win rate because cheese or sneaky bullshit like surprise carriers wouldn't work.

I love watching flash dominate, and at the same time i still love watching everyone else play (both proleagues and starleagues).
|
when flash first came into the scene (2007ish?) all he did was cheese and I hated him hardcore.
Now I love watching him and play and hope he rapes in every set he plays.

This is gonna be all the more hilarious when Flash doesn't win either league. Kal + Jaedong/Calm will put a stop to Flash's Terran scum ways soon enough.

Someone doesn't believe in the alien if Flash loses both leagues, imagine what the forums will erupt into

I've followed all of Flash's recent games. I still don't get the chills I got when watching Savior in his reign.
