Hey ho lets go
i was thinking about this yesterday...
If i was to give a man something i got an immense tech tree of possibilities: Zippo Lighters, Crown Pens, Cigar box(haban cigar if he smokes!!), Good Whiskey, a whiskey canteen, an Iphone/pad/pod(lol!), a fog free mirror...
but how am i supposed to gift a woman?
a pink ipod/phone/pad?, huh...
bring the ideas on ;/ please !!!! (:

Cosmetics are the easy solution for minor gifts... women are easier to shop for than men, tbh. Just buy them something pretty and they'll be happy
|
What's here age, what's your relation to her etc... Not that I would have good ideas if I knew these, but it definitely should be considered.
|
A hand made solar system necklace/bracelet.
|
Flowers, chocolate, a book. If you want something more expensive, good cheese, a good bottle of wine, a set of wine glasses....there are a lot of options.

^ Beat me by 6 mins dammit! From what little experience I have, women appreciate idiosyncratically suited gifts more than men, so should be pretty specific to her. But jewellery is a handy default, a watch for instance, just pretty much match it to her style and she'll be pretty pleased.

if seriously, just buy her some necklace, bracelet or spa(?) coupon.
spa(?) - not sure if it's international term, basically it's beauty/relaxation salon .

Punk rock concert tickets ^_^

Practically anything can be a good gift to a girl if she isn't a materialistic bitch. Take into consideration the things she likes in life and go with that. The smallest and most insignificant things sometimes can be the greatest gifts.
|
Books, weird shit and stuff you enjoy.
Don't buy cosmetics, jewelry or toiletries (perfumes, soaps, etc.) unless you really know what you're doing, otherwise it just makes you look retarded.
|
Giver her somme awesome chocolate ;D!
|
but seriously, bring her to a fancy dining place and give her big ass chocolates/cosmetics/cute couple t-shirts :D

You don't get that girls want to be surprised? You can't ask them for what they want and have it be a surprise at the same time. + Show Spoiler +They want to be surprised at our ability to read their mind.

Personally I've never been a HUGE fan of flowers because they wilt and die and are no more after a while - I like holding onto my gifts =l
But she could be different! Get to know her so you can gauge this on her scale haha

The important thing is to make sure to wrap the present. I made the mistake not to once. Never again.

Need more detail - is this for your mother, a co-worker, classmate, current or potential girlfriend, etc.?

flowers are easy and great for many occasions

I agree. Besides jewelries that she would wear often, most presents are soon forgotten. Activities on the other hand have the potential to remain in her memory for a long time if she has nice day. Stuff that my girlfriend liked include a day at the beach with picnic and food, zoo or circus.

Or one could take a leaf out of M-Busters book of knowledge and just "show her your dick, man"
+ Show Spoiler +Nah seriously, get her something that the majority of women likes. Chocolates, flowers or anything expensive like jewelry.

If that is the case maybe jewelry, flowers or if you want really deep give one thing that is special to both us.
Use your mind.

the best gift for a women is to remember those little things that she told you she liked and actually show that you listened... simple? NO because it's freaking hard to remember those things.
In general, taking her out for a nice dinner and just bringing her home is best... don't go overboard...
remember don't bring her expectations too high, just high enough for her to be pleased enough to you know... do w/e you want her to

+ Show Spoiler +IronChef Foicite: well, there's a lot of reasons IronChef Foicite: i mean, roses only last like a couple weeks IronChef Foicite: and that's if you leave them in water IronChef Foicite: and they really only exist to be pretty IronChef Foicite: so that's like saying IronChef Foicite: "my love for you is transitory and based solely on your appearance" IronChef Foicite: but a potato! IronChef Foicite: potatos last for fucking ever, man IronChef Foicite: in fact, not only will they not rot, they actually grow shit even if you just leave them in the sack IronChef Foicite: that part alone makes it a good symbol IronChef Foicite: but there's more! IronChef Foicite: there are so many ways to enjoy a potato! you can even make a battery with it! IronChef Foicite: and that's like saying "i have many ways in which I show my love for you" IronChef Foicite: and potatos may be ugly, but they're still awesome IronChef Foicite: so that's like saying "it doesn't matter at all what you look like, I'll still love you"
But really, if you're her friend, you should have a rough idea of what to get her already. Some inside joke or reference, something that you know she'll appreciate. A book, concert tickets, a DVD of an old, nostalgic movie. The best thing you can do is personalize it.
|
A good gift would be something that she wants for herself, but would probably never actually get for herself. Complicated. Something she always wished she had, but just sorta never bought herself.
Also, we really need to know about your relationship to her lol. That changes *everything*
|
Make her one of these: + Show Spoiler + George Clooney says it's only around 100$ :>

You could preorder her a copy of starcraft 2

dude is not that hard, ask any woman, do they have enough shoes? they never have enough, and its the same with the following: - shoes ( this one is tricky) - jewerly - bags - earrings - cosmetics - clothes (this one is tricky, you really need to know her very well)
some of my gifts : a skirt, to my gf, i did know her very well of course, and she love it a small kit of earrings, a bag
of course most of this will work with woman with age between 15-26 but remember they NEVER have enough stuff.

But she could be different! Get to know her so you can gauge this on her scale haha Listen to Smix. Not these "get her flowers" type jive turkeys. Yeah flowers don't do shit. I've been with my girlfriend for more than a year and have never gotten her flowers. When she complains I just remind her that if I got her flowers they would be eating shit right now, and instead she is wearing the nice pair of shorts/boots/ect I got her.

gifts are pretty stupid
if it's her birthday get her nothing and say her gift is your presence

Why has nobody suggested a vibrator yet?

Depends on your relationship with her.
If she doesn't already have one, get her a Hitachi Magic Wand. She'll thank you later, trust me.

damn, after 20 years of life experience, and 5 different girls in my life, and I cannot answer this question still....
|
chocolate. can never, ever go wrong with chocolate. ever.
|
Try and get/make her something totally personalized. Whenever her friends ask where she got it, she'll reply with "You can't get it anywhere else, it was made specially for me!"
|
haha Basically don't over think it. Flowers, candy, small jewelry is always good. If you are really getting into it though, it depends on the girl. Is she a geek? Is she a prep? Does she like cleaning or cooking or what? haha It all depends on the girl. If you really don't know, give her some cash or gift card and tell her to hf and gl lol
|
This. A pretty girl with that kind of hats is just a pleasure for the eye and it's sort of original.
I tried this for you.
|
Get her something that means something to the both of you. Something that when she sees it she is reminded of you.
