A good number of progamers are pretty alright and the pimply nerds certainly aren't a majority. Taking MLG as an example, I couldn't name 3 pimply nerds. Hell, Huk and Kiwi are pretty handsome! I've been wearing my headphones on my hoodie (without success).

Sweating is hard to avoid in a heavily taxing mental and physical game like SC.. Its really different than every other game. Of course its not as bad as a full-body sport, but the amount of energy needed to play at the level that the top players play at, their high APM and so much multitasking (mentally) is really draining. I wouldnt expect anyone whos not familiar with it themselves to understand.

When QXC comes out on stage it doesn't even look like he's bothered shaving before he's set to appear in front of thousands of people. I'm sorry. Are you seriously suggesting that an unshaven QXC with his badass bandana looks like a stereotypical sweaty pimply nerd? ROFL. He looks more like a stoner than anything. What's with the obsession of shaving anyway? MLG LANs aren't boot camps, a bank nor a place of business and even then it's a pretty retarded norm if it's kept neat enough. Also, does your girlfriend find beefy although sweaty boxers appalling as well?

Playing a game in such an intense environment is pretty mentally taxing.
