So going to restaurants has been kind of a weird experience since people tends to suck at pronouncing my name so I tend to miss when they call me sometimes. I was grabbing brunch with Mystlord and i barely caught my name when they called our table so it was kinda bad
So basically, TL, I'm accepting recommendations on what name I should give restaurants when I reserve restaurant/get placed on the waiting list. I thought of stuff like giving completely random names each time so I will either use names here to pool in the random name list ("Tassadar, Table for Three" would be kinda funny) or if I like a name enough I will use it everytime i go to a restaurant
But yes, I'm quite serious in this, and the reason I asked this on TL is because I wanted to use a name that's almost like a meme in TL (like Magnus or Grack)

Blackthunder, Razor Kim, Razor Lee, Razor Cho, Razor Shin, or Garimto. actually garimto sounds best. I can imagine ppl pronouncing it gar rim to. instead of gah rim to.

Most of the people I know in sales and stuff who are east Asian or Arab or something and choose a more American-sounding name just go with whatever name they think is closest to their real name, though.

No, not Jinro, or anything related to him, but Jin is one of the most badass Korean/Asian names there is. It's a character from Street Fighter, so that's probaby why. But its simple to pronounce, but still has that BAMF feeling.
I was looking at the BW progamer names to see if you could use them and can't help but chuckle to some of them. Try to say "Killer" with a straight face.

having a rather amusing name myself, i refuse to go for the classics or just my last name. that's too boring
I just stuck with my Korean name when I lived overseas. It only involved repeating my name 6 or 7 times with every non-Korean person and then giving up and going with whatever they called me ~_~
우주's a good name. At least it's not something that sounds weird in English like.. 유석 =]
