So I am wiriting this blog, not to show off my obviously state-of-the-art reocording setup, but to talk about getting out there and achieving goals. What I mean is, I don't really have ideal equipment, I have some cheap Casio Keyboard and a MIDI to USB cable I bought for $5, however, I'm not going to let that stop me from making music. I think it's easy to put up a mental road block, and convince yourself you need something you don't before you can start a project or achieve a goal.
But you know, not everything has to be there in the beginning, sometimes you just have to take what you have or what you can get, and work with it, you need to start small and work your way up, build on what you have, the important thing is that you just start doing. Ask yourself, "What can I do right now?" and start from there, don't concern yourself with what you can't do yet, just get out there, set a goal and work towards it. GL HF
